Dosage advice?

Hello everyone!
Nox's dose somewhat recently went up (on July 24th) from 1.75 units to 2 units. I'm REALLY struggling to get his numbers under control (though admittedly, I could test more!) and it feels like they're still just all over the board. I'm not sure if maybe the dose is too high, so the drops are too big... But on a lower dose, he seemed to stay over 400 more often than not.
He does have arthritis and flare ups of pancreatitis, but hasn't had pancreatitis symptoms lately, so I'm just not sure. I feel lost and like I'm never going to get this figured out, even though it's been almost 9 months since diagnosis and 6 months since getting settled with a new/better vet and switching to lantus.
His spreadsheet in my signature is up to date, but here is a link as well

Hi Lainey have you read about lantus , especially the 2 dosing methods to choose from and follow ,they will explain when to increase or decrease .
On your SS I see were times you didn't test the AMPS or the PMPS
It's important to do this before giving the insulin
I tagged a member about your question :cat:
@Lainey & Nox
If you can fit this
arthritis and flare ups of pancreatitis, in your signature that would be great

Edit Lainey I would suggest that you post everyday on the lantus board so members can follow along in case you need advice.
This is how you would post
Date Nox then AMPS and any additional tests after that, you can continue with his PMPS in the title, To add the additional tests look to the right and you will see the word Thread Tools ,tap in that then tap on Edit Title ,add the tests then tap Save.

We always link the previous days post to our new one , just copy and paste it to your new one:D

Hi. You’ve been doing a great job of getting up to speed on testing. It does appear as if an increase may be in order, but you have had some blues and even greens on this dose so I would like to see more data on the spreadsheet. And in order to keep your baby safe, it would be best to get a pre-shot test before every shot. Keep up the good work and let is know how we can help. If you post on the Lantus/Levemir Board daily, you can get help on a daily basis - as needed.
