Daylight savings time starts this weekend so shot times will need to be shifted in order to accommodate the time change.

Using a 7:00 AM/PM shot time as an example, shots can me moved as follows:

Thursday AMPS 7:00
Thursday PMPS 6:45

Friday AMPS 6:45
Friday PMPS 6:30

Saturday AMPS 6:30
Saturday PMPS 6:15

Sunday AMPS 7:15 (time change will have occurred and would have been 6:15)
Sunday PMPS 7:00

(Please bump this message until Sunday.)

thanks for the reminder, Sienna. Always nice to have the times written down so you can see them.

Thanks!!! You know me and time changes, get toally confused.
Just have to change the number from 7am to 5am my shot time.

Although the company I work for is closing the doors, so will be a stay at home Mom (for Buddy boy) so I'm probably going to change my shot time anyway!!!

ICK! I really hate the spring time change & loosing an hour of sleep!!! I much prefer the fall time change when we GAIN an hour of sleep!!! LOL!!!

How can this be the first I've heard that daylight saving time is this weekend. Ugh , and us with 5 guests staying all weekend... Ya know , once we "sprung ahead" on the wrong weekend - MIL was in town, easter weekend and she wanted to go to church. We took her to a real nice one few towns over as a treat - got there and it was very crowded and couldn't figure out why they were doing communion so early...... yes, we made it to the tail end of a mass instead of the beginning. Luckily she didn't make us sit thru a whole nother mass. Talk about feeling dumb!

Wow! I had not even thought about that. Glad Sami is OTJ.

Hope the process goes smoothly for everyone still on insulin.

I was just thinking about that this morning  I do mine in 15 minute increments starting Friday PM.

Current: 6:15am/pm
Fri PM: 6:00pm
Sat AM: 5:45am
Sat PM: 5:30pm
Sun AM: 5:15am before daylight savings, 6:15am after

15 minutes seems to be ok for Oreo.

Thanks Sienne, I lay awake last night trying to figure this out (math wizzard that I am!!) and now I see that you have done it for us. THANK YOU!!

Ella

ohmygod_smile I knew it was this weekend -- and never made the connection to Kitty!! double ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile . Thanks for the reminder, and for pointing out that I move my shots EARLIER by 15 minutes. I always have trouble figuring that out. Must have too much fur in my brain.

Time change question......I know this is definately not the 'ideal' way to do things....BUT....I hate loosing an hour sleep! Could I have a sleep in day & call it a fur shot instead???? Hubby & son are going away for the weekend (hockey tournament), so daughter & I will be relaxing this weekend! A nice sleep in day would be VERY nice!!!!

I only thought about it today when I turned on my computer and realized it had taken me an entire hour to walk from my kitchen to my office - my HOME office! Yikes! I forgot about DST. OK, not totally, I just forgot about it in the past 48 hours and since I just started Kyndra on insulin this past Tuesday it was not on my mind. so....I guess I will have to make the adjustments this week.

I guess I should be spending more time on this than posting photos of lizards and cats!
