Dale lost his dinner

Just after his evening dinner Dale was meowing strangely. I saw him catch and eat a bug. Then more meowing. Then I found the pile where he's thrown up all his dinner- I don't know if it was before or after the bug or if that was related. He ate Friskies Ocean whitefish and tuna. Now he is meowing again and licking his bowl like he's hungry, but I'm afraid if he's not feeling well I shouldn't feed him. Advice? ETA: Just tested his glucose at 408.
By the way, sometimes after eating and getting his shot, Dale does this strange meow. It almost sounds like the first cat that says "hello" in this video. Does anyone else experience anything like that?
 
Cats can throw up for all sorts of reasons. I would try feeding again if he's hungry. It's worse to not feed. If vomiting persists, it can become problematic and would require a visit to the vet.
 
Aww, so sorry that Dale ate that bug. And then had a tummy upset. I don't know if they are related in anyway since my kitties can do that for unknown reasons too. Eating too fast is sometimes a cause at my house... the scarf and barf syndrome. So I keep the meals small and often.

And I have to say this.... I know you wanted us to listen to the kitty in the video for serious reasons, BUT OMG I laughed the whole time watching that video. And then I watched it again. :lol: Thanks for posting it, a smile is always a good thing. :lol: :lol:
 
Yeah, sometimes he does eat too fast. I know, that video is hilarious. It's just really weird because Dale only meows like that right after a meal- usually only the evening one too. Weird.
 
Shadow does that too...but only in the mornings. LOL. He did it a lot more when his numbers were really high. It's like a roar after he ate. Weird. I would feed him again definitely...agree with CD and Sienne...
