Copernicus isn't keeping food down.

Copernicus has been regurgitating/vomiting since yesterday. I'm doing both zofran and cerenia but he's not keeping food down. Recently, I've started a new Lantus pen, increased his dose, and gave a new compounded batch of Cabergoline. Could it be any of that? He is also going in and out of box a lot but we did scoop and he is making urine. I guess it could always be a partial blockage. It could be anything at his point. He has so much going on with him. I really don't know what else to do. Without food, the ketones will start to climb. I've even tried plain boiled chicken. Just venting but also open to ideas always.
 
The new Lantus pen or increased dose should not be a factor. Is the Cabergoline from the same compounder as the first batch?

When is the last time he pooped? Just wondering if he's constipated? Not uncommon with acros.

What is his regular food? Any recent changes in what he's eating.

How often are you giving the Cerenia? What is the dose and how much does Copernicus weigh? Just verifying it's the right dose for him.

Have you tested ketones today?

Same compounding pharmacy. He pooped last night. Low phos chicken. No food changes. Cernia every 24 hours and 8mg I believe. I haven't tested ketones today, but they were .1 yesterday. I hope to God this cat isn't partially blocked. Even though he peed several times overnight and this morning , he keeps going in the box and peeing just a little bit.
 
Do you have clumping litter? If all he's doing is quarter sized pee, then he should see a vet. Even a partial blockage is painful. Which might make him not feel like eating. My civvie who was Neko's buddy had idiopathic cystits, so familiar with blockages. Has he had fluids lately?

He had only about 60 mLs yesterday or the day before. I'm not near his notebook. The vet was moving us to every other day and the bag leaked hanging in the closet so he got 60 when she said to do a 100.

How large have the pees been compared to normal size for him?

A vet taught me how to test for a full bladder. I'll see if I can explain it to you. The bladder is on their right side at the back of the body on the underneath. You can google cat bladder picture and see if that helps. Hold him up and approach from the back. From the back of his right leg on the body, you should feel a fluid filled sack. If the bladder is hard, his bladder is full and he really needs help ASAP. If you aren't sure, he should still see a vet. BTW, my male cat specialized in having cystitis episodes that needed the vet on Sundays. :banghead:
 
He's peeing quarter sized when he usually pees a very large amount. But there were large pees in there since early this a.m. and overnight.

Oh boy I wouldn't trust myself. So if I do fluids and he pees does that mean he's not blocked? Or could he still pee with a partial block? I think the latter is what Google is saying.
 
If he is peeing some large pees, that's a good indicator. The other possibility is a UTI, which can cause frequent and smaller pees. Again, a vet would have to take a look at him, probably take a urine sample to get it cultured.
 
I'm glad you took your kitty to the ER. I doubt there's any permanent damage but pretty much everyone here is a very invested caregiver. We tend to blame ourselves -- and it doesn't help that none of us speak "cat." Please keep us posted on what the vet says.
 
I too am glad you went to see a vet. Hopefully they can get him sorted quickly and he can come home tonight.

The first few times my civvie had his partial blockages, I didn't recognize what was happening at first. Plus, being Sunday, it was harder to get into a vet. So I also went several hours without him getting treated.
