@Suzanne & Darcy Let me catch you up a bit. I don't think you were with me when I first started here.
He was actually diagnosed last February and the vet put him on hills w/d prescription food dry. I took him in every other week to do a curve and they would up his insulin. He was on 12 units and I felt like he wasn't feeling better. I found this board about 4 weeks ago and started doing the glucose testing myself. At first he was in the black and reds. There are days that I tested every 2 hours. He has been on 100% Fancy Feast Classic for almost 2 weeks and the numbers have been yellow blues. pinks when the shot was skipped.
I cannot imagine what it was like from February to November. I made sure he ate and then 10 minutes later he got insulin, he had a bowl of dry food out the eat all day. At 6 pm he got his insulin again.
