So I thought things were going great for chance. He has a very bad addiction to his dry food. We kept the hills science from the vet for emergency back up. We sealed it in a plastic container. He gets 1/2 cup Dr. Elson's given only during night in two divided doses. The Dr. Elson's is also in a sealed container. Chance gets determined to get his dry. His history is when we rescued him, we couldn't get him to eat anything for a couple months (he had a feeding tube). We finally got him to eat friskies swirls dry after trying multiple foods. He's never really cared for can but will tolerate it but will not always eat it that's why we leave some dry out at night and the emergency stash. We literally have to move his dry containers around the house because he will search the house for it all day. My profile picture is him finding one container on the fridge. Last night in the middle of the night, he found the hills science dry. Knocked it down and had a celebration meal. Of course his sugar is running high today. How long will it take for the dry to get out of his system and glucose to come down? all dry is now is plastic containers and locked up in my pie safe til chance figures out how to do a latch.
