It's a she. I hope mom comes back for help. I hate when new people come on for just one time.

One of the moderators has asked that this not be done but you can PM Nadia’s dad for the infoPlease post the name & location the vet! If any one cares to post on Facebook, Twitter... etc from that town it would get the message out! I did that though with a small town vet where I used to live & people reacted as if I were terrible. They loved that vet (so did I until they overdosed my cat on mobic) and stood up for him! You may find yourself in the very same situation! That vet also stabbed Baby to give her fluids with a huge tube. Lik they used on cows! That was after acting as if I shouldn’t ask for them to pay for fluids & care when they did the damage! He also was not licensed for pain meds & I was told she would get them for recovery! Poor Baby suffered with her first eye énucléation! I never left her side after getting home. Hope he .... karma!

and I'm considering sending the emergency clinic an enormous box of chocolates, especially because I dig the idea of sending a crate of sugar for saving a diabetic kitty!
This is awful & so scary! I'm so sorry you're going through this @mykmug . I hope the vet is going to be paying for your kitty's care at the ER. I would never use that clinic again. Do you have any friends who can pet sit your kitty when you go away again? Or consider hiring a professional pet sitter for two-three daily visits. It will cost you a bit more money but I think worth it for the peace of mind. I used to work for a mobile pet sitting company & it was a great experience, we would send updates & photos after each & every visit etc. Just be sure you do reference checks if you do hire a professional pet sitter. I would not board her with that clinic again. I hope she's going to be ok.
