Buster_Post-SRT Journey

You noticing any difference besides his numbers since the SRT treatment? One of the things I noticed early on for Neko was her reaction to strong light. She avoided it before SRT, but seemed much more comfortable not too long after. Good thing, as it was summer and she loved her sunbeams!

It is interesting that you say that. Buster used to lie in a particular corner with a sunbeam every day. Now, he's been opting for a corner without sun. Interestingly, it only started a few weeks ago. I thought it might be b/c it's been so darn hot but maybe it's the SRT. I'll watch as the temperatures go down to see if it's the temp or the light.

Recently, I have noticed that he has a bit of trouble seeing where I throw his treats. Granted, they are small & he's never been much of a hunter 😹 but I wonder if his vision is being affected. That might also be why he's avoiding light...

I hope the SRT didn’t negatively affect his eyesight.

The pituitary tumour is close to the optic chiasm. Treating the tumour with SRT would make the tumour smaller and less likely to cause damage. Neko's tumour was called "tiny" so it wasn't an issue size wise. I don't understand why she reacted to strong light better after SRT, she just did.
