Blood sugar 395 + Bleeding

Dollbaby is bleeding a lot right now. She's insisting on laying on my bed as her body contracts and blood oozes out of her. She feels like she's got a fever with her ears bright red and her glucose at 395. Should I give her a bit of insulin? Her best level is 120, but she's so sensitive that she goes hypo at the drop of a hat if I try to increase her insulin even the slightest bit.

(She's got an unknown growth in her bladder which the vet thinks is the cause of her bleeding along with a variety of health issues. She's on hospice care since the vet can do nothing to stop the bleeding other than give her pain meds. She hasn't bleed in about 6 weeks till the last couple of days.)
 
I suggest that you consider taking her to the vet. If this bleeding is much more than usual, it sounds like something may have ruptured. She may be in a lot more pain than she is letting you know.

I am sending you prayers for your baby and wisdom on how to treat her.

You say "hospice" care, I would do whatever I thought to make her comfortable.

It is up to you if you think an ER vet trip is needed. I'm in the city and the ER is a few minutes away.

Can you call your vet?

((((LGoddess)))) It would be impossible for any of us to give appropriate insulin dosing guidance given little information about your past dosing and the fact that you say Dollbaby is sensitive to insulin.

I agree that D should see a vet. I agree with Lisa that D may be in pain, especially with the contractions you speak of. She needs some relief, and what form that relief may take is up to you and the vet to decide.
 
Thank you, everyone. The vet's response is to just keep her comfortable. Bringing her in causes Dollbaby greater anxiety. She's already been given as much pain meds as she can be given for the day so now it's just to watch her and make sure it doesn't get worse.
