It was 11 years ago today that Black Kitty, the last cat anyone expected would ever “get off the juice “ , did just that. It lasted the rest of his life. Don’t lose hope.
Hard to believe it's been that long. @Lisa & Oberon and @Howiesmom It can be done with an IAA only kitty.
I love this video, it always makes me cry but for the first part I’m excitedly waiting for the numbers to drop and the celebratory confetti making. Black Kitty was amazing and the two of you were an incredible team. Be inspired beans!!!
I absolutely love that video. Black Kitty is a legend and has always held a special place in my heart. I can’t believe it’s been that long — I remember some of the discussions you and JoJo had and some of the late nights. You and Black Kitty taught everyone so much!
So inspiring to see this marvelous video again. I always love to see the shots of Black Kitty shredding the paper towels and toilet paper. Good thing there were no toilet-paper shortages then! I'm sure the gang at the Bridge will enjoy the anniversary party for BK tonight.
Hiya Sandy! I never had the pleasure of meeting BK personally, but gosh he was so darn handsome, wasn't he? It's crazy that his remission adventure happened 11 years ago, and both you and he are still such an inspiration to IAA-only kitties and their beans today. Sandy, you sharing BK's story has helped Lou, DH Caleb, and I so much on our journey, and we couldn't have done it without you. While Lou's not in remission, he's tightly regulated, which I never thought would happen in a million years. Thank you so much for keeping BK's memory alive by sharing his story and your wisdom. I absolutely LOVED the video. I've never had the pleasure of seeing it before, and it makes me feel close to him, as cheesy as that might sound. It's good to see you, and I thank you for letting us share BK's anniversary. Many hugs!
Great video!! Makes me hope... At 3.11 Black Kitty is in a cardbox with Greek letters on it!!! @Sandy and Black Kitty ,where do you live??
@Sandy and Black Kitty I just learned of your story. I have tears in my eyes, you are still teaching us newbies how it's done.
