Hi all,
I went out this afternoon looking for Methyl-B12 to treat Casey's neuropathy, and couldn't find it at WalMart, GNC (a health food store), and PetSmart. I asked a vet at PetSmart and he said he'd never heard of it and basically acted like I was making it up. He offered to go look it up, with a definite air of "I'm very busy and I know I won't find anything and I think you're crazy", but I told him not to bother because I figured I could just come back here, since you all know more than he did! He also seemed to think that giving a cat anything for neuropathy before their BG was under control was unnecessary.
Don't know about that last part - I'd like to see Casey's neuropathy get better sooner rather than later, and I don't know when her BG is going to be under control - but can y'all tell me the best resource to get Methyl-B12? Is it available in a store, or do I have to go online?
Thanks!!
