leslie...
i thought i was all cried out about bayley's sudden leaving but i can barely see keyboard through the tears now. the pain of losing any of our furbabies is so great, but losing your diabetic or acrocat is all that plus more pain. the bond that develops is just so strong, after all they depend on us to keep them alive,~giving insulin, just the right amount, not too much, not too little. and that you did perfectly. bayley did great with you and she was not just a diabetic cat but an acrocat, dosing is so much harder. so know that you never let her down, you kept her not only alive but happy and healthy until the last 2 days when her heart failed. and there was nothing you could have done to stop that, we just don't have that kind of power.
please know we are all thinking of you and are here for you. you've been a part of LL for long time, this is your on-line family and support. ((hugs))
dearest bayley....
i am so sorry you had to leave so suddenly. don't worry there are many very very special kitties at the bridge that will show you around. young, healthy, and whole you will wait in the warm sun and gentle breezes at the bridge for the day when you will be with leslie again, for true love is never parted forever.
fly free little girl......
