Babibear is gone.
He was diagnosed with CRF a couple of weeks ago and was on sub-q fluids.
He stopped eating totally a few days ago and could barely walk, crying when he tried. It was heartbreaking.
We ended his suffering last night.

Babibear is now with his sister Ginger at the Rainbow Bridge

Oh Lori, i am so sorry to hear this. thank you for giving the greatest gift you could have given babibear. you took his pain and made it yours. Hugs

I'm so very sorry for your loss. You did right by your boy, the one gift we give becomes our pain. Fly free sweet kitty, on the wings of angels fly free...

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you. Babibear is with Ginger, and they are waiting to be reunited with you one day, again.

I'm so sorry that your sweet Babibear had to leave you. This is the hardest thing to have to do and yet it's the greatest gift we can give our furry companions when they are so ill. The pain then becomes yours.

My heart goes out to you in your sadness - I'm hoping that the wonderful love and memories you shared will comfort you in the days and weeks ahead -

I'm so sorry for your loss. Perhaps they could not bear to be apart and are together again, at the bridge, healthy and whole.

Oh, Lori! I am so sorry to read this. I remember when you lost Ginger and I never thought you would have to go through this again so soon. My heart goes out to you. Please know that I am holding you close in my heart. :YMHUG:

Thank you everyone.

I have only one kitty left (Lucky) and he also has CRF and Anemia and is on sub-q fluids like Babibear was. His labs were not as bad as Babibear's but he is older (15) and down to 6.5 lbs now.
He eats alot of food, but his body is not absorbing the nutrients.

I have a terrible feeling it will be 3 cats GA in one years time...
 
I'm so sorry (((((Lori)))) You gave him the greatest gift even though it breaks your heart. That's true love......

Fly free Babibear - you will be greatly missed.
 
Lori, I am so sorry for your loss, but it is good that he is free of pain now. You made the right decision.

Oh Lori, I am so very sorry about Babibear. The pain of losing two kitties so close in time must be hard to take. Even though you hurt badly, you know Babibear is pain free now.

I wish for peace and easing of this sadness for you. (((((Lori)))))
 
I'm so, so sorry about your loss of your beloved Babibear. I know the pain in your heart. My Elliott just went to the Bridge, too. Babibear and Elliott are both learning the ropes at the Bridge now, and are in a very wonderful place until we are able to reunite with them. Until then, take comfort in knowing that your beautiful Babibear knew love from you.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. No words can erase the sadness you feel, but may it help to know there are others who understand and care.

i'm so sorry you lost babibear.
i lost 3 kitties in the past year and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. it is so hard, when you love them so much and try to hard to keep them healthy and happy.
hoping lucky has much more quality time with you.

Lori, I am so sorry. He knows he is very much loved. That picture is so adorable! He was a very handsome fellow. He and Ginger are with you in spirit and will wait for you at the Bridge until the day you will be reuinited. They will always love you. ((((((((((((((((((((((LORI))))))))))))))))))))
