It's NOT Lantus!!
This is a recall for Apidra, (insulin glulisine) which is a different product (fast-acting insulin) intended for people with Type 2 Diabetes.
Lantus is Insulin GLARGINE not insulin glulisine ...
Nothing for us to worry about...

Please take note of the comment in the thread by Perry & Sooty -- this applies to a different Sanofi product that uses the Solostar pen system - the produce is Apidra.

Glulisine is a fast acting insulin, unlike glargine (Lantus), which is slow acting.

some lots of APIDRA SoloStar Pens have been recalled.
Lantus Solostar Pens have NOT been recalled.
