They do seem to not be quite so high and long now. Maybe he's getting used to normal numbers!!
Hi Sue,
Well done for handling that low number.
Was Frankie OK at that 2.5..?
That number was probably well and truly in hypo territory (on Alphatrak), so don't be surprised if you
do see a big bounce from this one.
Actually, I did a 'double take' when I looked at your spreadsheet this morning, because those numbers reminded me of Bertie's when he had his first ever hypo. I shot on a falling number at 11.2 and two hours later he was 2.6 (on a human meter). He was dropping fast, though looked normal. But in the time it took me to run downstairs and get glucose everything had changed, and I came back to a very symptomatic cat... (I keep the glucose with the test kit these days as my knees aren't so good at running up the stairs.

)
It does look to me as though Frankie's situation is improving: Blue numbers three days in a row, plus some greens, the bounces
do seem to be clearing faster,
and the dose is being reduced. Keeping fingers and paws crossed that this positive change continues and increases. You've been working very hard on this.
