Of course we get a low PS today. Something else to add to my nerves.

She was supposed to get a light breakfast this morning, so I did NOT force feed - I brought her breakfast in bed and she ate about 1 1/3 Tbsp Wellness. She also had about 2/3 Tbsp Wellness for her +8 or +9 snack. I'm going to offer a little more food before we head out for the vet - it's about a 45 min drive, maybe more with some rush hour traffic.

Good luck today. I'll be checking in to see your update later, too! You have a lot of support and positive vibes and vines for the IM Vet to help your sweet Kasha. It's really good news to see she's eating without force feeding.

Well - I didn't see the same vet we saw last time, but this one seemed very nice. They are taking Kasha for the day and doing the CT scan. He said that it costs about the same as a scope and he showed me how far up her nose he'd be able to view reliably with a scope (not that far). Apparently the price I was told originally was for everything. Which still might happen depending on what they find.

They are doing blood work now - they'll call if something is really off to discuss options. Otherwise, they'll sedate her around 1 pm or so to do the scan and any biopsies necessary.

I'm getting some breakfast and debating going into work for a few hours.

you and Kasha are in my prayers today lets hope the CT scan will show whats bothering her so much so she can get to feeling better and back to eating on her own once again snowflakes and healing vines for you both today

Sending positive vibes for CT & tests. Sometimes it helps to go to work & others not. Hope you do what is best for you whatever it is. Kasha will be on your mind & we'll be keeping both of you on ours. Sending lots of hugs for these stressful times. Take care.

Well - that's that. There's a mass in her nasal passages that looks like it could be lymphoma - the pathology report will be back tomorrow or next day. When they figure it out, they'll let us know our options. If lymphoma, probably chemo - which will be expensive and horrendous time-wise. I don't know if there is somewhere closer to get the chemo administered or if I'll have to drive 45 min each way. They said I could drop her off before work and pick up after - but then it would add 3 hours of driving to my day instead of 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.

We're home - she ate over 2 Tbsp Wellness off a spoon for dinner.
 
Aww, ((( Krys ))), not what I wanted to see for sweet Kasha. I hope her prognosis is better than you think, and I'm happy to see her appetite is picking up. Some kitties respond well to treatment so I hope the vets can come up with something that works well for her and alleviates her symptoms quickly.

Best to relax for now and wait for the pathology report, right? That was a long day for you both....there will be time to think when you know what the report shows....sending hugs to you both...(((Krys & Kasha)))
 
(((((Krys))))) (((((Kasha))))) Wait for the report. It might not be as scary as it sounds. There will be a solution that will work for Kasha and for you. We are thinking of you tonight and sending positive vibes to you and healing vines and snowflakes to dear Kasha. It's good that she is eating tonight.

Oh, gosh, Krys, not the report I was wanting to see, and I know it's not what you wanted to hear either. But, let's not jump the gun just yet. Sending loads of positive vines and white lights for a better pathology report.

Oh my - not what I had hoped to read. but I do agree with the others - wait for the report, try not to worry until then, and once you have it, go from there. I am glad that Kasha is hungry - always a good sign. I wish you guys the best! many healing vines from Mannie and me.

Ugh, sorry on the initial feedback. It's hard not to anticipate, but see what the report tells you and go from there. Sounds like you are in good hands.
