I get the feeling ive done something wrong! Maybe a fur shot!?
Thank you for explaining this to me Sienne! I swear every time i feel like things are progressing… another roadblock pops up. I feel bad looping you all in when i cant seem to get the data needed for adviceOne of the drawbacks of not getting PM tests is that you have no idea how low Lando's numbers may have dropped prior to yesterday's AMPS of 248. Even with that AMPS and given that Lando has been mostly in the over 400 range, the PMPS is likely a bounce. If numbers drop into a range that your cat's body is no longer used to spending time in, the liver and pancreas go into panic mode. A stored form of glucose is release along with counterregulatory hormones that cause BG numbers to spike upward. You didn't do anything wrong. Bounces are annoying (to us) but not unexpected.
Don’t feel bad. Ask questions. That is how you will learn and there’s so much to learn.Thank you for explaining this to me Sienne! I swear every time i feel like things are progressing… another roadblock pops up. I feel bad looping you all in when i cant seem to get the data needed for advice

The lesson of patience is OBVIOUSLY one that i need to learn! We've just had the same desire to yank out our hair with our own cats!
Regarding bounces, they generally don't last more than 3 days. Lantus teaches us patience!
