9/4 Lando amps 498 , pmps 465

Which anti nausea meds are you using, and what dose? I always found ondansetron to be best. Paws crossed you and Lando are starting to turn the corner.

Hi wendy, lando is on 1/3 of a pill (5mg) of cerenia day ( its only been two days so far).
It really seems to be a good thing, but i wrote down ondansetron from another post i believe.

things are still changing with him daily so you never know.

ive also discovered that he does NOT want to eat a big meal ( would rather eat a few smaller meals). I am doing whatever he requests.

Cerenia pills usually comes in multiples of 4, so 4mg, 8, 12, 16. A 19 lb at a dose of 1mg per lb of cat would get a lot more than 5 mg once per day.

A 19lb cat (8.6 kg) would get 0.5 -1.0 mg/kg 2-4 times a day of ondansetron, so a dose of 8 mg would work to start.

Nothing wrong with letting Lando graze, we have many kitty grazers here.

Ah, ok i see. I have been cutting the pill into 3rds and putting them in empty gel caps ( since the taste of the pill is offensive to lando)! Sounds like i am underdosing him
