Yesterday's flat yellow day, AMPS not considering
Good Tuesday to all in LL. Zener had some improved appy last night, then had a slow yellow slide until this morning. I think the "kitties are starving in the world" suggestion from Tricia and Cinco did the appy trick. ;-) We had to add a few dollops of high carb fuds to get him started in the early parts of the evening cycle, so I suspect we are seeing the after effects of that at mid-cycle today. Tummy massage sure helps when his little tummy gets so tight and bloated and he isn't interested in eating. Fluids coming up later this afternoon.
Is anyone having trouble getting the DEHP-free subQ fluids in the US? There appears to be a shortage in the US and my usual source, ThrivingPets.com, has none right now. I did some searching and the few places that do have the fluids do not have the DEHP ones, and you have to order 12 bags. We can get some from our vet in the meantime. Any suggestions from those with kitties on fluids?
I am getting organized to pack for Germany in bits and pieces. No suitcase until everything is ready to go in, and all have to be above pee level.
Thanks Julie and all for keeping an eye on Liz and Zener while I am away. I leave tomorrow afternoon and return Monday evening . It's a short trip this time = 5 darks.
Wishing all a calm and drama free Tuesday,
anne
