Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug want to make their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! I have to admit that they are pretty good! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!AND!!!! The CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE has been so popular that it is now part of the cheery cherry Monday line-up! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. Our weather yesterday was such a mixed bag.... Wet rains and winds, and overall nastiness, the kind that makes the radar turn red. By 2 PM the sun had come out, stayed maybe 30 minutes and then was obliterated by the next deluge. ;-) Such weather we have had in the PNW over the weekend... I took advantage of a break in all that wet to hike the trails near home here yesterday. It proved to be a good time, even with winds in the 25 mpg range, and a few sprinkles... I am ever so grateful that such a ncie place is so close to home, and I can go and hike there any time I want. Hooray for Meadowdale!!

Saturday night I went to my youngest son's show. Rock'n'Roll rules! Well, I've learned to like thrash metal, as that is what his band plays. Despite the loudness he is one heckuva guitar player. It was just so very nice to be able to go and listen to him lay. I was grateful that they place they played at was close to my home. The only drawback was that they played last, were the headliners, and didn't hit the stage until 12:15 AM. so..... it was 1:45 before they were finished, and 2:15AM before I was in bed.    and the worst of it was that I still was awakened by the kitty choir (Bug ad Elsa) at 4AM, and they would not accept "GO AWAY!!!" as my response. So I got up. :o and stayed up, :o @-) @-) There simply was not enough caffeine yesterday.   Well my dear DS - I'd do over again in heartbeat if it meant being able to hear you play. Well done my son! I took photos (duh!) and video taped the show: Fallen Angels at Madison Avenue Pub. My DS, Matt, is the one on the right in the group shots, also the one featured predominately in the photos: black T-shirt, jeans, goatee. There are 6 videos included. I was amazed that my camera actually did a fairly decent job at recording. And I'll warn you: this is metal music, so loud fast and furious. The lead guitar that you hear is Matt.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Despite my overall fatigue yesterday, I did get alot done, vacuuming included. Lola once again helped me clean. silly cat. She chases that vacuum from one room to the other, batting at the cord, attacking the vacuum as it goes by, carefully inspecting the hose and attachment when I use that from a close enough distance that I can on occasion vacuum her fur. Since she hates brushing, maybe this is the way to go: vacuum the kitty!   I had a small chicken ceaser salad for lunch yesterday. In the process of putting it all together I had set the cubed chicken container on the counter, out of the blue came this flash of fur! well two flashes!   Lola was at wrap speed and as she passed by she grabbed the container in her mouth, flew off the counter headed into the living room to open it, which she did! :o What was funnier was that Bug was hot on her paws. He missed snatching that container by a paw. Tandem chicken tub stealing. They were so proud of their catch that I had to let them have some. It is too funny to see a kitty running with a tub of chicken in their mouth.   YUPP!
Normalcy in MusketeerVille! and yes, Elsa missed the whole ting.

Have a great day everyone. Nicholas and William are with me again today, all five days this week. @-) I-) It will be a swim day for Nicholas, in the afternoon. My DD, who has a one half work days left, will be up in the afternoon to watch William so Nicholas and I can go to the pool. With the weather being questionable this morning, I'm not too sure what we will fill the morning hours with. I ahve the feeling we will need a dry indoor place... I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

You definitely had a full weekend, Michelle. I'm glad to hear that your son's concert went so well, too, and that you all had fun. Hoping for a wonderful day for you all. :YMHUG:

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

Morning Angela ~O) ~O) ~O) , and thanks on everything! Yes, the concert was fun, a late night, but ever so fun. THX on today - should be a good one. I so hope the weather decides that too! ;-)

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

~O) ~O) ~O) Oh my! I love the videos. Matt is really talented and it looks like you had a blast. I am so glad you got to go. They are great.

Too funny on the tub of chicken. Of course they had to have something after all that.

Have a great day Michelle!

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

Oh they are oh so young! When they get older they will learn that they can get the bean to serve them and they won't have to exert themselves to take the container! That's what Maui does, she waits to be served and yup! I oblige and last time I looked in the mirror, "sucker" was still written on my forehead!
:YMSIGH:

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

:thumbup Well done Lola! She never saw you coming!  Hey, I gots to come in the house today, so I get to use the puter! I hopes they don't try that bath thing again! -- Emma

I hope you managed to stay dry, well at least for the morning! And all this on less than 2 hours sleep?

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

Michelle,
Thank you for the videos! I'm not a huge fan of "thrash", more a fan of "prog", but I can recognize lead guitar talent when I see it. Your son has it. :-D
His Carvin is a pretty sweet guitar too. ;-)

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

Oh...cool concert! The energy at the show looked fabulous and Matt is quite the guitarist! Late night, though  ! The first time I ever did a furshot was the night after a Bruce concert, when I got 2 hours of sleep! Crazy kitties...they need to learn how to tell time.

Of course, though, the tub stealing takes the cake....oh, Lola, what do you have planned next??

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

That's so funny on the tub of chicken. I can just see that race between Lola and Bug.

Your son is really talented. That's so great his band was the headliner.

I hope swim day with Nicholas went well.

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon

Hi everybody! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and William and I have had a very nice one. Despite the weather, we did make it out. :-D Boys and I ended up at Scriber Lake in Lynnwood today, a local city lake that has lots of ducks, and n ice loop trail. It was hard to tell just what the weather would do, this looked like the best driest spot, it was local, and the car could be parked within a good close distance so off we went. Little guy was really tired this morning, so just as well I guess that we didn't travel far. Anyways - he got to chase ducks, run in puddles, break and toss sticks, had a great time. It really is a nice little lake there in the middle of the city. Pool was good this afternoon too, he did well, considering he was a little on the worn out side when we got there. He still wanted to go, so off we went. His mom was there again this afternoon, so show off time. LOL. He really does love that river. Too funny! It's nice to see him enjoying the big bucket dump too. All in all it was a nice day in the pool, and at the lake. William did well too, awake for about half the lake walk. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Melissa :-D THX on the vids, and for taking the time to view them. I think Matt does a great job, he really can play. Me too ion being able to go, it really was a great time. I so had to laugh at the tub of chicken. That was work! I so had to reward them. THX on today - it was fun. :-D

Hi Hillary - LOL on the young vs the older! I think I too have that same thing etched on my forehead....

Hi Ann - we did! I found a few moments when the weather was supposed to let it, and it did. So we got a lake loop walk in, some duck time too before the rains started in again. and yes.... all on minimal sleep. sheer will power, and few good cups of ~O) ~O) and one energy drink thingie. :-D
Emma! I did good huh! It was mega fun too. She never ever saw us coming! We be stealthy! oh oh.... a bath? no, no way, you gots to avoid that! ~~ Lola

Hi Carl - thanks for the visit! and for taking the time to view the vids. I hear ya on thrash, not my fav, but well, the kid does play it well, loves to play lead, fast metal guitar. He had such fun with it. THX too on your comment, I will pass it along to him.

Hi Amy - thx! I will let him know you liked his stuff too. Yupp, a very late night, and I am still trying to recover from the lack of sleep. Funny how we still sorta function with little sleep. I can so see that fur shot. I also so agree wit the kitties needing to tell time, beside their "Feed me" clock. I so had to laug at the tub stealing - she was so good at it, and to have Bug hot on her heels was even funnier.

Hi Carla - I did laugh on that chicken tub thing. It was just too comical, even if they did get my chicken. ;-) THX so much on my son, I will pass that on to him. It was nice that they got the headliner spot, always a nice thing. Yes, swim day went well for Nicholas - he had fun. He was a little tired when we got there (no nap), but once in the water his love for it all took over. It was a great day for him.

Re: 9/30 LOOSE LIPS Rock'n'Roll RULES... & Cheery Cherry Mon
