9/3 Mauer AMPS 104, +2 43 @+15 43 @+5 47 @+75 50, +3 49, +3.5 49, +4 58, +5 56, +6 58, +7 85

If she doesn't come up despite the second tsp pf 19%, use honey. Onset of today's shot will also kick in at some point.

Slightly up by second teaspoon of 19%, +2.5 47, meter variance to my advantage!!! 2 drops of honey and a teaspoon of 19%

She's not that hungry either. Last teaspoon went in over 15 minutes.
She needs a longer bump upwards
I want a glucagon pen.....

Treat stick-thing, half covered in honey +3.5
She's starting to get mad, and won't eat canned food.

You proved your point, Mauer! Time to come up and stay up, please. I had trouble figuring out what hour you were in from your condo title, but I see we aren't even at +4 yet. It's early. Do you have any higher carb wet food to feed her? Good idea to keep some 30% around as well in the event they aren't that carb sensitive. Or add more honey.

21% is my highest.
Problem is she's full now, if I keep forcing it she'll most likely vomit.
It's very early :banghead: I should have reduced or skipped, based on the drop from +9 PM to her AMPS in hindsight.
This is seriously not the day. :banghead::(

So I made a judgment call and fed her some dryfood, not the low carb, but the diabetic dryfood. And I did so, because her ears is done, I don't need a needle to make her bleed, just a little squeeze and I have enough.
She's only at +4, which means her AM dose isn't on full speed yet.
She's apparently difficult to get up today, despite honey and 19% carbs.
She's not hungry anymore, and if I had to apply honey to her lips, I'm afraid she'd vomit and refuse to eat.

The dry food went in just fine, now she has hiccups and is burping... how lovely.

So I had a doctor's appointment today. Just a regular check up with my ADHD medication. Turns out I have a puls of 125, even though I was sitting still and haven't done any exercise. So I had an EKG, results will be in tomorrow. But my doctor is expecting it's my medication that's at fault and she might change it......
My medication is the only reason I'm mentally awake to take care of Mauer. My pulse was high in August too, but didn't raise a flag at the time. So since last summer I've been "saving" some, so I could take my meds when I go to bed. The meds is keeping me awake, and is not supposed to be taken at nighttime. But if I don't, I won't hear my alarm and get up to test. So if the side-effects is a high pulse, that's very unhealthy in the long run, my doc will most likely do something about it, or completely take it from me.

And then I don't know about Mauer. We're seeing some REAL progress these days on Lev, it's freaking amazing really. My hope was and is, that this getting up at night, and Mauers condition is temporary. We don't say the word! And on that note, I've really gotten my hopes back that it is a possibility for her.

But without my meds, I can't take care of her, as I am now :(
Shitty day, really. :banghead:
The spelling mistakes is free, my brain is fried...

Hi Sasha, sorry for misunderstanding your first message. My brain is also fried....
I so know where you are coming from in the hopes that this is temporary, but not really believing it will ever be....:(
Sorry you had a shitty day. Not having the best one myself, but let's deep breath together and carry on. Hang in there! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You didn't misunderstand, dear Karen. I was afraid this might happen, that's why I was threatening with spanking. It works for @Wendy&Neko, so I thought I might give it a go. Obviously it didn't work :woot:

I still believe it's temporary. So should you, Karen. Hercule's is possibly the world champion in bouncing, but I've seen it several times written that some cats bounce all the way to the thing we don't say :D
So I believe in it, and if you don't, I'll believe for the both of us!

You hang in there too, you wonderful woman! You're doing awesome and Herc is lucky to have you as his mum! And slave! But mostly his mum :p:bighug:

You had quite the cycle ! Congrats on the reduction. I hope you are okay and can take a different medication to solve your issue. It’s good you had a doctor’s appointment.

And it's not over yet! :woot:
I gave dryfood twice, I still haven't seen it in her BG?!
Unfortunately there isn't another medication that does the same thing.. so I'm hoping it isn't serious and my doc will let me continue.
What do I do about her PM shot?

It’s a long way off to PMPS. Maybe there will be a bounce or at least a blue.
She got two small handfuls of high carb dry kibble. She didn't skyrocket. What about her depot? I'm thinking it must be quite full since I can't get her up..

I’d definitely decrease even though she’s now a year diabetic. Is that what you are asking?
She's five days past her one year, so I'm reducing. No doubt about it. :D

I'm just a tiny bit afraid she won't bounce. Yeah, I'm actually hoping she bounces..

Hc with honey is a much better choice than dry. The dry will likely stick with her longer than you want.

Only been feeding what it says in my ss. Not for the least few hours.

I know, but she was low before onset, her ears is done and they bleed without using a needle, she didn't want to eat canned food, I can't get honey into her without her vomiting. So I didn't have any other options.
The only other option was to go to the ER for a glucose drip...

:bighug::bighug::bighug: I get it. Much better than the ER!
Much better. I wouldn't use it unless it was the last option. I know how bad it is, and how long it effects her. But at least ill know why she's higher than usual. But rather that, then the ER.
And it didn't work as I intended either

Im doing a +3, and +7 that I can cancel or move up if needed.
Going to sleep now.
Thanks so much for the help today.
Look like someone is in a hurry!
