Good Morning LL
(LOTS! L just love
), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese been perfected, and even with the added tuna and nip, I have to admit that they are pretty good!
so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!
I hope everyone had a great Monday, and a fine Labor Day holiday. Mine was great - another hike. YAY! The hike was OK, just way too overcrowded. The people were lined up coming in and when I was going out. It was a sunny holiday weekend, expected I guess. I was home by noon, but still had great hike. Here is what I posted in lat nights condo about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one, and that all had a great holiday. I did go hiking today. I was out the door as early as I could get, just to avoid the crowds.... One just knows that with the holiday weekend that it would be mega nuts and busy, and it was! I think all of Washington State showed up at Lake 22 today just to hike that trail. I have not seen it that busy in a very long time. I was on the trail by 7:30, after an hour and half drive to get therm and even that early I was running into people. I guess alot of folks had the same idea I did.  The hike was a good one. We did have some clouds, but all in all the weather was great, with temps in the 70's. I really enjoy hiking Lake 22. The lake is so pretty and they have a loop trail that goes all around the lake. There is some shoreline access too. The wildflowers are more or less spent, but a few still lingered. I had a great time I hiked about 8 miles, climbed about 1500 feet total, over a rocky trail, that had 4 talus sections. I so love hiking on rocks. not." Picassa links: Lake 22, and Images from the Road. The last album is a series of photos taken while on the road. The sunrise was gorgeous, so I had to take photos. The river at the end of the album is the Stillaguamish, which runs parallel for quite a while to the Mountain Loop Highway. The shots were taken across the road from the TH access to lake 22.

but.... I didn't get a welcoming committee upon my arrival back home from my hike. perhaps is was becasue I was 3 hours earlier than normal.
   So of course I called out to them, and LOL: they all came running, assumed their positions, and all was well with the welcoming committee.  You gotta love cats. Lola is still trying to secure her escape route to the great outdoors. When I go hike I have gear I need to take so lately I've had to put her in a room with the door closed so I can go in and out of the house to load up the car. :? Once done I come back in and free her. Then it is the mad dash to see if I can escape before she realizes that the front door is opening.   CRAZY! So far: Bean 8, Lola 0.
I will laugh - this morning Bug and Elsa missed the whole thing - they were sleeping. Smart cats! Yesterday my son was over, and volunteered to install an new and improved modem for the internet here. The new one had just arrived the day before, and given my ineptitude at some things, he put it in for me... of course it didn't rework right. We had to spend 3 hours on the phone with the cable folks, messing with this and that. I was glad my son was here, helped alot. Kinda wrecked his afternoon, but he was gracious enough to help with the stuff I didn't know. anyways---- 3 hours later, back on line, with a nice little headache. unreal. What was funny about this whole ordeal was Lola - she had to help. He'd check on something she'd check on seething, He was under the table, so was Lola. This went on for those three hours.   Even funnier: as he was getting into his car we could hear her up in the wondow sill, meowing away... "Wait! you forgot to let me out! MMMEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW! " Poor Lola.... ;-) She is such fun! OHL Bug's kitty acne seems to be clearing up, slowly. YAY!
Have a great day everyone! Today is a little busy for me: breffis with my son, then a hair cut. I think I have coffee this afternoon in Seattle with my friend. I'm still waiting to hear from her. I will get to condos when I can.
