Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! L just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese been perfected, and even with the added tuna and nip, I have to admit that they are pretty good! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great Monday, and a fine Labor Day holiday. Mine was great - another hike. YAY! The hike was OK, just way too overcrowded. The people were lined up coming in and when I was going out. It was a sunny holiday weekend, expected I guess. I was home by noon, but still had great hike. Here is what I posted in lat nights condo about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one, and that all had a great holiday. I did go hiking today. I was out the door as early as I could get, just to avoid the crowds.... One just knows that with the holiday weekend that it would be mega nuts and busy, and it was! I think all of Washington State showed up at Lake 22 today just to hike that trail. I have not seen it that busy in a very long time. I was on the trail by 7:30, after an hour and half drive to get therm and even that early I was running into people. I guess alot of folks had the same idea I did.  The hike was a good one. We did have some clouds, but all in all the weather was great, with temps in the 70's. I really enjoy hiking Lake 22. The lake is so pretty and they have a loop trail that goes all around the lake. There is some shoreline access too. The wildflowers are more or less spent, but a few still lingered. I had a great time I hiked about 8 miles, climbed about 1500 feet total, over a rocky trail, that had 4 talus sections. I so love hiking on rocks. not." Picassa links: Lake 22, and Images from the Road. The last album is a series of photos taken while on the road. The sunrise was gorgeous, so I had to take photos. The river at the end of the album is the Stillaguamish, which runs parallel for quite a while to the Mountain Loop Highway. The shots were taken across the road from the TH access to lake 22.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   but.... I didn't get a welcoming committee upon my arrival back home from my hike. perhaps is was becasue I was 3 hours earlier than normal. :o    So of course I called out to them, and LOL: they all came running, assumed their positions, and all was well with the welcoming committee.  You gotta love cats. Lola is still trying to secure her escape route to the great outdoors. When I go hike I have gear I need to take so lately I've had to put her in a room with the door closed so I can go in and out of the house to load up the car. :? Once done I come back in and free her. Then it is the mad dash to see if I can escape before she realizes that the front door is opening.   CRAZY! So far: Bean 8, Lola 0. I will laugh - this morning Bug and Elsa missed the whole thing - they were sleeping. Smart cats! Yesterday my son was over, and volunteered to install an new and improved modem for the internet here. The new one had just arrived the day before, and given my ineptitude at some things, he put it in for me... of course it didn't rework right. We had to spend 3 hours on the phone with the cable folks, messing with this and that. I was glad my son was here, helped alot. Kinda wrecked his afternoon, but he was gracious enough to help with the stuff I didn't know. anyways---- 3 hours later, back on line, with a nice little headache. unreal. What was funny about this whole ordeal was Lola - she had to help. He'd check on something she'd check on seething, He was under the table, so was Lola. This went on for those three hours.   Even funnier: as he was getting into his car we could hear her up in the wondow sill, meowing away... "Wait! you forgot to let me out! MMMEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW! " Poor Lola.... ;-) She is such fun! OHL Bug's kitty acne seems to be clearing up, slowly. YAY!

Have a great day everyone! Today is a little busy for me: breffis with my son, then a hair cut. I think I have coffee this afternoon in Seattle with my friend. I'm still waiting to hear from her. I will get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Re: 9/3 LOOSE LIPS: Another hiking adventure, and TUNA TUESD

OH, that Lola....what a little handful! We actually exit our house through our laundry room - it's sort of a "kitty lock" that keeps them one extra door away from the great outdoors! Actually, no one has tried to escape for quite some time, but they were ambitious when they were little ones. Hopefully Lola will start to settle down on that one...I know it can be stressful when you always have to worry about the cat getting out - and in Lola's case, taking off like crazy cat!

What a great little helper, though, with your son! I'm glad Bug's acne is clearing up!

Have a great day, Michelle!

Lola cracks me up! I hope she chills out on trying to escape though. Tarragon used to do that until he actually did escape and then got scared. So nice that DS can come over and do those things for you. It is way more difficult than it should be and is nice when it is done.

Have a great day Michelle!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) Oh yes on Lola... LOL: I wish I had a back up exit, or a buffer door.  I am with you though - I hope she outgrows this new found longing for the great outdoors. I hope she settles too. Just when I think I see signs of that she is off on another "LET'S ROLL!, crazy style"  THX on DS, it was nice of him to figure it all out,. Me too on Bug!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) Lola.... me too! She is such fun, and sure does keep us on our toes. Too fun on Tarragon, and his escape adventure. I almost wish Lola had shown some fear. NOPE! Instead it was like a prancing gazelle across the yard and back and forth and back and forth.... I so agree on my DS. it should have been a 5 minute simple install.... nope, never is her when it comes to upgrades etc... 3 hours later we were up and running. never ever normal here.

Re: 9/3 LOOSE LIPS: Another hiking adventure, and TUNA TUESD

Hey Lil Bit Pit - It's Tuna Tuesday again! I so loves tuna tuesday! Please deliver me several pitchers of tuna water! It's my favorite part of tuna tuesday! If you have enough, I'd even take a bath in it! @-)

Well maybe not. I don't want to get wet and then smell like tuna for a week. Someone may mistake me for food and try to eat me! nailbite_smile Ok how about just pitchers and ice and straws instead! Ooooh and if you have those cute little paper umbrellas I'd love to have that in my cocktail!

Tell silly Lola if she wants to go out, she should ask her bean nicely to let her out. Even offer to wear a nice necklace with a long chain - that may convince the bean to open the door to the wonderful outside! Me, I prefer to sit on the deck of my yacht or hang around my pool or if I stay home to nap in my favorite chair on my porch! My bean said we can do that today, hang out on the porch. But I've gotta get a nap in first to prepare me for nap out there. So, hurry and bring the coffees and tuna water so I can hang on the porch today.

Signed Maui the Magnificent, loves to nap

That's so funny when you called the welcoming committee showed up and assumed their positions. Oh wow on the 3 hours to get the modem working. That was nice of your DS to take the time to help you. So cute Lola had to help too. Hopefully Lola will get over trying to get out all of the time.
