Good morning!

Well, Emma's PS numbers is definitely food influenced. She didn't finish everything I gave her last night, and she was washing her face when I came downstairs this morning, so I think she had just been snacking. cat(2)_steam I need to get the new automated feeder running and get her used to it so I can control this a little better. She's happier this morning than she was last night. I think we're all exhausted from the heat we've had all week. Now the rain and wind will be moving in today, but it's supposed to clear out by tomorrow, so that's not too bad.

Her numbers are still on the high side....there may be another dosecrease coming over the weekend. When I came home yesterday during lunch she was over 300...I just don't understand this kitty!

I have a confusing kitty too, it can be very frustrating so I hope Emma's numbers improve and she takes to the automatic feeder.

I hope the automated feeder helps, it's hard to control how much they eat.

Emma, come to the beach and get away from the rain and wind! I'm yellow too, it doesn't matter at the beach. If Curry's mom is right we can bring out numbers down playing volely ball. -- Tess

poor little Emma....I bought some freeze-dried treats, and she LOVES the chicken ones. Well, a certain dog who shall remain nameless (ahem...Charlotte) found the bag and ate the whole thing. I had also bought some beef ones, and Emma was so excited at treat time she gobbled up a few, and they DO NOT agree with her. She's been puking for the past half hour. Just white foamy stuff now that the treats have all come up. I tried to give her 1/4 of a pepcid, and she puked that up too. :sad:

my poor little kitty! a PMPS of 393 - that's her highest number EVER. She's finally stopped throwing up, and seems to be back to perky self. I just gave her some dinner that she didn't approve of, so I changed the selection, and she's eating it now. I'll pick it up so she doesn't eat too much at once...don't want to upset her tummy anymore than it's already been today!

That is one sad story...i gasped when i read that...the whole bag? Droolers are such piggies...poor Emma.
I hope she will bring her numbers down...even that yellow is better than pink. Come on Emma!
Hope she will continue to hold her food down tonight...

awwww, I hope Emma is feeling better soon. I have a cat who always throws up beef. :sad: Poor thing, I hope you can get some more chicken for her (and put it in a high cabinet in a screw-top jar!).

I'd keep an eye on the drooler - that's a whole lot of freeze dried stuff that will expand in her belly when she drinks. Is she big drooler or little drooler? Poor Emma!

I just bought a little bag of them, because I wasn't sure how Emma would like them, and she's a 70 lb drooler - she's totally fine. I'm sure she ate them right after I left for work. She's quite the food thief. I accidentally moved a loaf of bread within her reach on the counter the other day and left it there when I went to work, and she ate the whole thing.

Emma seems to be holding her food down. She just went back to eat a little more, and still has a perky look on her face, so maybe the drama is over for the night...I hope!

Well, she seems sleepy tonight - probably worn out from all the puking. But she's been eating on and off, and she's kept it down. Her numbers are coming down gradually...I'll be up to get a +4, and then I'm heading to bed. I don't think she's going to get too low tonight!

Kristen, Tinkles is right up there with Emma, on the pink floor. I hope Emma comes down from there soon, and brings Tinkles with her! Glad to hear that her tummy calmed down. I have a drooler that has a thing for coffee (will try to lap it out of my mug when I leave it on the desk) and fruit...especially bananas!
