She is quite a spunky lady
Runs in the family. We are going through boxes of family documents. She has the hard copies and was executor to her mom's estate and I have all the ancestry data I have put together over the past 10 years. Levisa Smith (my 3rd great aunt) was a real estate wheeler/dealer. Never married but bought/sold property from Ohio to Texas. Quite the character. 1857-1946. She owned the property that the San Antonio post office is now located. Directly across from the Alamo. Somehow traded that land with city of SA for 1400 acres in Frio County TX including all oil, gas and mineral rights. She owned property in Kansas, Oklahoma, Ohio and Iowa. Now that is a woman I would love to be able to have a cup of coffee with and hear her life story!
