Hi from NYC! We arrived this afternoon in pouring rain, but it was a pretty good trip. Stu bore up pretty well. He refused to eat breakfast, but I brought some FF Chicken Florentine (11%) along to serve at a rest stop and he ate that quite enthusiastically. He also drank water at both of the rest stops we took. This morning the lb received its contributions. Mr. Cat went to hide from the trip, but we found him. I hope we have everything we need. I may have to go out and buy some more Fancy Feast Chicken Florentine, since that is all he is interested in eating and since it hasn't seemed to affect his bg. I only got AMPS and PMPS readings today; both are good blues. I brought along a new, smaller cat water fountain for the apartment here, and he is spending all his time in the bathroom, lying on the cool floor and rehydrating.
So tomorrow at noon is Stu's examination with Dr. Peterson. Edward and I are philosophical about the outcome. We are both troubled about the fact that Stu is so depressed (maybe he is sick?) and that he might be rejected because he is not his usual outgoing self. But Edward says that regardless of the outcome of the exam, at least we will have had the benefit of a really good and thorough examination and will be able to find out what we should be doing as we move forward. Everything that I have heard about Dr. Peterson is favorable. I feel good knowing that Stu will be seen by him.
Time to go over the stuff for Hypurrcat, so I'll close. Will bring you all up to date tomorrow. Keep thinking good thoughts for our sweet kitty!!
