Hi from NYC! We arrived this afternoon in pouring rain, but it was a pretty good trip. Stu bore up pretty well. He refused to eat breakfast, but I brought some FF Chicken Florentine (11%) along to serve at a rest stop and he ate that quite enthusiastically. He also drank water at both of the rest stops we took. This morning the lb received its contributions. Mr. Cat went to hide from the trip, but we found him. I hope we have everything we need. I may have to go out and buy some more Fancy Feast Chicken Florentine, since that is all he is interested in eating and since it hasn't seemed to affect his bg. I only got AMPS and PMPS readings today; both are good blues. I brought along a new, smaller cat water fountain for the apartment here, and he is spending all his time in the bathroom, lying on the cool floor and rehydrating.
So tomorrow at noon is Stu's examination with Dr. Peterson. Edward and I are philosophical about the outcome. We are both troubled about the fact that Stu is so depressed (maybe he is sick?) and that he might be rejected because he is not his usual outgoing self. But Edward says that regardless of the outcome of the exam, at least we will have had the benefit of a really good and thorough examination and will be able to find out what we should be doing as we move forward. Everything that I have heard about Dr. Peterson is favorable. I feel good knowing that Stu will be seen by him.
Time to go over the stuff for Hypurrcat, so I'll close. Will bring you all up to date tomorrow. Keep thinking good thoughts for our sweet kitty!!

Give Stu lots of scritches and hugs. I suspect he is sensing that something is up and he's confused. I think lots of love is always a good remedy. We're sending good vines for a happy, purry Stu.

Great report! We are rooting for you and Stu. He is our buddy and we wish him the absolute best. BTW - you guys are the BEST too for take such good care of Stu. Sending lots & hugs & vines & prayers your way.

Take care & keep us posted.

Love, Susan & Lanky

Stu - I am so glad you made it to the big city OK. I was worried about you - even though I know you like to travel. Good luck tomorrow buddy! We will all be waiting to come and see you. ~~ Mannie

I am with Sienne - I just think Stu knows something is different, and he just doesn't know what it is. Cats are so sensitive to our emotions. I wish you guys all the luck in the world. Tonight - give lots of hugs and cuddles - even more scritches. It will help him feel secure. Tomorrow will be a good day - no matter the outcome. Good luck - we all anxiously await the outcome.

Be good Stu - we all luvs you.

We are sending vines and prayers that Stu will like Dr. Peterson and that they will be able to do the procedure. Maybe Stu senses your worrying and that's why he seems depressed. They can be so sensitive. Sending you all our best, Ella.

Not to bad of a day for Stu, considering the trip and him possibly not feeling well. We are thinking of you and Stu and will definitely keep our fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for you guys tomorrow. You know there are so many of us behind you and wishing you well....it just has to be a good report!!!
Good night to you all...good night Stu!!

What great numbers for Stu today especially with the car trip and all. Tori would be over the moon with stress if she had to travel. I hope you all have a real good rest tonight and that everything goes well tomorrow. I believe it will. It sounds like Stu couldn't be in better hands than with Dr Peterson. Will be thinking of you.

Oh I think Stu is BOUND to realize something is up and he senses your emotional ambivalence - "we love him to death and want him to get better but we hate it that we don't get to even go visit him for a week."
No one could stand up to that kind of stress and not communicate it to their litte four-legged lovey. It seems strange to encourage you to put on a brave face for Stu but that's prolly just what he needs.

And I know he can sense it, he's closer to you than we all are and we all can sense it.

You and Stu and Edward are wrapped up in hugs and held close in our hearts and we will be waiting on pins and needles for a report tomorrow. Be strong for Stu.

Good luck, Ella. We will be thinking of you all as you have this adventure with Dr. Peterson. We hope Stu is the perfect candidate
and the treatment makes him feel good and happy again!

So glad Stu had a good trip to the city, and such great numbers! Best of luck tomorrow all paws and digits crossed.

Stu, Mannie and Binks have the transport and the KTS will be there with chicken soup for when you are out of the treatment. Whiskers up Mr. Cat! Puuuuurrrrssss! -- Tess

Ella, thank you for update. Sending lots of love and scritches and schnuzzles to Stu. And cyber hugs to you.
Sending lots of prayers and good vines, that Stu qualifies for treatment.
Today will be a good day, no matter which way it goes, because you have a wonderful attitude.
