Sorry, thought you did. How's he acting? It's up to you about the 1/2 tsp HC with some syrup, I think I would be tempted but I'm not very experienced and we don't want to shoot his BG up too high.

Looks like LT is through with the .1 dose again!

Back down he goes!! You might have your hubby play around with the syringes and see if he can count drops and see if there's something he can get in between the other doses you've tried.

OK now LT....leave them sharkies alone!!

He said with our syringe, that the 0.1 he's been giving is 2 regular plus 1 tiny drop. I'll see if he can move one of those regular drops out before we shoot.
You can just do the drop technique too which will give you one drop .

If you test again now and he’s up over 68 , then dont give anymore food and retest in 30 mins. You want 2 test 30 mins apart that he maintains above without food.

To do the drop method you will just push your plunger in and hold tight, insert into your vial or pen then let go. You’ll get 1 drop.

Oh my between LT and Elmo there is no lack of excitement around here these days. I'd try the needle juice dose again. Given you are using a pet meter you will get more blue numbers naturally and it looks to me like LT is very close to being done with insulin. Maybe those few days on the 0.10u have given him a push toward the finish line. Fingers crossed.
Unlike Elmo, our latest excitement has been during the day. I think we'll go back to the drop we were at prior to the increase to 0.1.

I agree to go back to the “needle juice” dose. What wasn’t enough before could be just right now.

And I’ve got to ask , when did the drop dose be renamed “needle juice” ? I was surprised when Chris referred to it above when I described how to do the suck up method.

I was trying to describe how to do it last time she tried and it was the best thing I could think of to call that tiny little amount.....the amount that's left in the needle part of the syringe when you let the vacuum suck up a tiny little amount but don't see anything in the actual syringe. "Needle juice" just seemed like an easy way to describe it.

I know her husband has also been doing a lot of experimenting with their syringes and has been able to do a 1 drop dose that's a little more than the "needle juice" dose, but less than the .1

So DH drew up 0.1 unit which in our syringe is 2 regular drops plus one tiny drop. He discarded one regular drop and we injected the rest. I don't think it's going to be very precise, but it is a decrease. I'll test at +2. Here's hoping that we'll be able to maintain LTs lagoon visits. Again, thanks for everyone's help during the sharkies' visit today.
