Tomorrow a.m., if we shoot it's back to what we described as needle juice. But that 's a long way off. Testing again in 20 min.

The depot takes a while to build, and subsequently a while to deplete. It can influence 4-6 cycles after a reduction. Especially the first cycle or two after a reduction, the depot can be the one running the show. Basically, what you shot this morning and the previous couple cycles is influencing tonight.

Sorry, dinner interuptus. You could do a small amount of LC if you haven't already.

Reducing again tomorrow would be back to back reductions, which seldom hold.

I didn't feed anymore. The HC kicked in and at +3.5 he was 100. I'm glad he's safe, but knowing LT, I probably should have just mixed some LC with MC last time I fed. I really need to go back an read my notes from the past and type up something to refer to next time this happens. I'm going to check again at +4.5. His nadir is usually around +6.

Notes are good. Also record when you gave the HC. You'll usually need higher carbs earlier in the cycle, and lower later, when the insulin is starting to fade.

That's good information to have regarding when to give different carb levels. I try to record any intervention food under comments on the SS. I'll post the next BG in about 40 minutes.

I set my phone alarm wrong and then fell asleep so just now getting another BG which is a hefty 147 at +5. I'll never understand how the same food "treatment" during the a.m. cycle kept in the low 100's and the same treatment in the p.m. cycle sends him to almost 150. I suppose we'll stay with this new dose? @Bron and Sheba (GA)
