Leo is celebrating his second anniversary after SRT. Two years ago, I drove him to Ft.Collins, Colorado and he got SRT (radiation) for his Acromegaly (pituitary tumor). It was a big trip, expensive but life saving. He is pretty healthy these days. His insulin usage has gone down dramatically:
- 36.0 units/day in Sept 2016 -->> SRT week of 9/20/2016
- 4.75 units/day in Sept 2018
I remain eternally grateful for everyone's help here on FDMB. Leo probably would not be here without your help. THANK YOU.

This could be a long thread about his problems. I prefer to look at happy things.
- Leo loves cooked chicken
- He is best buds with Little Dude, and gives leg loving to everyone
- and last week he caught and ate a cricket on the porch, so he loves crickets too
Here's to my sweet kitteh Leo. With more luck, and some attentive care, Leo will be with us for months or years to come. A few of my favorite pics from this year.
