DC has been in the blue for the past 24 hours. Yay.
Frisky still won't eat the wet food, but I bought some freeze-dried chicken today and he ate some of that. I guess that's a start.
I also bought some different wet food today. I will try some shortly.

Hi Noreen,

I was just googling Fortiflora, available at vets or online., but it can be used for stimulating appetite, have you by any chance looked into this product?
I believe it is available up here in Canada, after doing a search online.
Check with your vet ok? Apparently you don't use too much as it can cause constipation.


I hope Frisky starts to eat more soon, please do your best, you don't want him to go without food for too long.
Dr Lisa's site is a good source too.

A vet tech here suggested I ground up 1/2 cup of Frisky's dry food and mix it with 1/2 cup water and refrigerate for 1/2 hour and see if he would eat it.
Just to get him used to a different texture. She said if he eats it, to continue doing that for a few days so he gets used to a different texture.
I tried it and he's eating the EVO dry and water mixture. It's about the same consistency of canned pate food. Hopefully this will help with the transition.
At least he's eating something. And DC is sleeping right now, so he's not trying to steal it.

DC is back in the yellow. Don't know what happened there. I don't think the 2 bite size pieces of freeze dried chicken should have done it.
And he hasn't eaten any of Frisky's food today. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
We're off to the lake again tomorrow and he usually has good BG when we're there. We'll be home Monday, so I'll see how it goes.
Frisky ate about 2 tbsp of the dry EVO mixed with the water and now he won't touch it. I picked up some Blue Buffalo brand and Halo both grain free and he won't touch either.
Mind you, DC won't touch them either. Go figure.

DC is still in the yellow. But overall it's been a good day.
I just fed Frisky a bit of EVO dry. I've opened 4 new cans of wet food today.
Neither cat will touch the Blue Buffalo or Halo.
I guess I'll have to think of another brand to try. I'm running out of choices.
I've tried Purina DM, Friskies, Special Kitty, Fancy Feast, Iams, Science Diet, Eukanuba, EVO, Wellness, Whiskas, 9-Lives, Purina Pro-Plan, Blue Buffalo and Halo.
