been sick with an URI. treating with AB and lysine. numbers all over the place. dosing averaging from .1-.4u. numbers from 50-high 300's. after better, may try the experiment michelle and doodle was to try.
Beasley
as purry and lovable as always. follows you around like a puppy dog and really meows and runs when time to eat. so funny to watch.
weight down to almost and even 13#. we seem to be at a bit of a stand still with loosing and ounce and then gaining it back. should break soon. this is down from 18#12.4 oz if I remember correctly. numbers 60-mid 100's and staying at .5u for awhile now
twinkie
ahhh Twinkie
seems as though (AC reading) twinkie is a mess physically and emotionally. says nothing I have done has helped in any way. not my fault. seems to have a lot of stress ect. soooo. as of the 1st, started him on some prozac. initially 1/4 tab QD. no results in 3 or 4 days so I increased to 1/2 tab QD. wait for it.........................
his licking has decreased remarkably. he will give an occasional lick but not to where it is causing open wounds. I can now pet him with only a little back rippling whereas before, I could not even tent his skin without throwing him into fits of rippling and licking. if collar on, would lick collar or air. also putting on herbal lavender anti itch soap on areas. hopefully the lavender will help with calming effects too. I hope telling this has not jinxed us.
his numbers are 70's to mid 100 and he is and has been on .75u. had him down to .1u but a few doses of steroids and seems as though it is now taking longer to dosecrease.
anyone know anything about prozac dosage and if it can be given BID?? my thoughts is ... if insulin has to be given BID due to faster metabolism, then why not same for prozac. I started today at 1/4 BID thinking it would be more consistent in body.
so knock on wood, all continues going on the up and up
