I think last night was our worst night since this whole FD dance started two years ago. Walter dropped early in the cycle and then he refused to eat. Walter, the cat that has been a proud member of the CPC since the day I took him home. The cat that will eat just about anything and at any point through the cycle. To make matters worse, he didn't want me trying to rub anything on his gums either. Or stick a finger in his mouth (in all fairness, he has always been terrible about oral meds, so that part didn't really surprise me).
He ended up spending 2 terrifying hours in the 30s before he finally decided that he could lick some gravy off of the food. And then he started eating just fine.
This morning's bounce wasn't really much of a surprise - but the drop by +3 is. I had to leave for an appointment right after his AM shot and I am only home for 1.5 hours at the moment and then I have to run back to campus. Luckily, he just ate his LC snack just fine and I will test again before I leave.
Mandarin is still flat yellow... so the synchronized cycles are officially done. Very glad that he didn't dive at the same time last night. I think I would have lost it completely.
Iris is still about the same - but she actually ate much better with the HC food last night. So I will keep trying that for her. It's not like she has to watch her carbs.
And the bean is exhausted... really exhausted. Let's hope our meetings this afternoon go quickly - I don't even know if I can keep my eyes open.
