When I think of you or Lucy I don't separate you two, I think of you two as a unit. Here I am again struggling to find words again. Your story IS what it is all about isn't it? Lucy's eyes, the will in them, your strength to fight for her. Understanding the pure joy of a purr when everything looks hopeless. That same fight is what you continue to do here for so many others. These kitties aren't Lucy yet you fight for their safety and well being the same way everday here in LL. I know I can speak for the General and say WE salute you.

Need I say how much I love her art? Doubt it. I have been a fan of Lucy's art from the get go. Just the other day I saw something, not food, in one of my cat's dishes and thought -- oh my gosh, is it possible? do I have a kitteh who makes art like Lucy?

I am touched by this thread. I love that she is so young and you and she will have a good long time together. Kisses to you both, D
 
Libby & Lucy - you guys have made my day! I love the story, the Lucy pics & the video of the kitty on the treadmill. I am still laughing & crying. Thank you so much for sharing. I agree, the supporters here on FDMB are absolutely the BEST!

I've always loved Lucy's story. You describe her so vividly I really feel like I know her. So glad you two found each other, and that she brought you here... to all of us.

I love hearing this story. My God, that girl was a sick kitty. Thank goodness she had you. I love her eyes. I wonder if Merlin will turn all brown like her when he's older. Thank you for everything you do here and for your help with Boomer. You were my life line with him. If you hadn't helped Lucy you wouldn't be able to help others. I'm very happy for both of you. I still look at the Siamese Cat Rescue Center's available cats. The cats are just awesome.
