Good Morning, Everyone,
We had cataclysmic thunderstorms last night and I had to turn off my computer from time to time. Rusty was unfazed--if attentive. He had a good night of sleeping on the bed, woke us up with squirms, headbutts, and kitty kisses. His AMPS looks like it might be a bit of a bounce. We'll have a better idea later. The shot went in this morning (I think). I have been shooting only on his right shoulder for several months because he seemed annoyed when I tried for the left. But today I decided to go back to alternating sides and successfully "found skin" on the left shoulder side. Rusty still has lingering vetty smell, but I don't think I smelled Lev. Breakfast was consumed in 2 sittings. And he had 1/2 teasp. of the hairball gel for good measure. We also had a brief brushing and now Rusty is relaxing on his pillow on the coffee table.
Nothing much on the agenda for today. This weekend we'll be going down to Camp to get ready for a big paddle on Monday. The weather is supposed to get much colder, with frost predicted for Friday and Saturday nights.
Fall is beginning to appear. The wildflowers and weeds are turning color, there is color in the trees, and the geese have begun to migrate. Here's a photo I took yesterday of the fields near Lake Placid with the High Peaks in the background (Mt. Algonquin, the second highest of the Adirondack High Peaks):

Everyone have a good day.
