9/14 Benny checking in

Hi everyone! I'm too superstitious to talk much about how the Benster is doing, but he is still OTJ and doing fine.

I wanted to pass this on. His vet told me that he was the first one she had. "First diabetic cat?" "Oh, no--first one in [the r word]." That is testimony to TR, and the kindness and expertise of the people here. I wish everyone had the same chance to get to this point.

I still lurk sometimes, so don't be surprised if I post occasionally. :D Hope everyone and their babies are doing well! :cat::bighug::bighug::kiss:

hi Catherine! Glad to hear Benny keeps on keepin' on!!

I actually haven't told our vet yet, I suppose I'll shoot her an email. Doesn't really surprise me that not many vets see cats go OTJ since the goal for most vets is only regulation. You're right, it's not fair that many kittahs never get a real shot at it. If not for the FDMB and all the wonderful kind and generous souls here, both Hendrick and Benny probably would not be OTJ today.

Reminds me, I need to donate again. Thanks for popping in! :bighug::bighug:
