9/13 Copernicus AMPS=216 +3=250 +6=263 +9=253

He had a pretty flat cycle this morning. His numbers this month (with the exception of the day you had to skip) have really been a lot better. Looking at this past week compared to earlier numbers; it's good to see those consistent blues and yellows, versus those reds/pinks/blacks. Good job, Copernicus! Keep it nice and steady, little guy!!

How far off your previous schedule are you now? I know that working your way back on time is brutal on sleep - as if FD wasn't hard enough.

His depot is large enough that you could do that delay, of however many hours it is to put you back on schedule. The depot will help ease the higher numbers, though there will still be some.

You also asked about R or fast acting insulin. That is something you could consider, now or later. But it is something that you would need someone experienced on line with you the first few times you shoot it. Every acro reacts quite differently to it, and the dose they need varies a lot. I've see 30 unit acros max out at 0.5 units R and others around the same dose that needed a lot more. There is a lot to learn about using R, and even more about when not to use it.

We have been doing the same time 1:30 am. We haven't started to walk back yet.

OK, what time was PS previously? You could skip tonight, get some good sleep, and resume with the old time tomorrow morning.

I think if you're uncomfortable with delaying his dose all the way until 8:00am that you could also delay his dose to something like 6 and 6 and then walk it forward slowly to your usual dose time.
