So Checkers ledt for Kelowna on Friday afternoon to stay with my sister in law while I go away on vacation. I noticed a day before his appetite wasn't as good as it usually was and heard him try to cough up a hairball (or so I thought). So I asked my sister in law to keep an I on that. When they arrived Friday he at fine. But Saturday and this morning he wasn't eating at all. So they took him to the 24hr vet clinic.
They did an ultrasound and found fluid in the lungs. So they are going to drain his lungs and keep him over night and run some tests:
CBC
Electrolyte/PCV
Cytology (on the fluid?)
They also want to do an xray, should they run the other tests first?
