Are you using pens or a vial? How old are they?

I'm wondering if you might want to ask about a dose increase. Perhaps that might bring those end-cycle numbers down as well as allow him to see more green in the p.m. cycle.

Those higher a.m. numbers are likely due to the dawn phenomenon.

I'm using the a vial filled on 6/28, so just over 2 months old.

I'm thinking that as well, but wondering about those few times where he reached the 60s and 70s and how low it'll bring him

While some people say they can go 3-5 months on a vial, this has not been the case for me. I believe my last vial started losing efficacy at just under 3 months (and I do keep it refrigerated). It's just something to keep an eye on.

Yes, I see where he hit a 67 on 8/27, and I had missed that earlier when I was looking at his ss. And he has had a few 70s. Those are all safe numbers--definitely not too low. If it were me, since remission early-on is the goal, I would just ask if there is anything you need to do right now. They may tell you that you don't have room for an increase and to put on your "patience pants." But what I wouldn't want to do is keep him at a dose too long if increasing will give him better numbers and possibly get him closer to remission. This is the place where we can have those conversations with experienced people. Having said that, please...don't feel pressured. You need to do what you think is best for you and Xander--and I completely respect that.

I agree, i'm definitely on the same page of being more aggressive with his treatment since I have the flexibility to be with him and monitor throughout the day/night

I've been wondering about an increase for Xander too. It's possible an increase to 0.25 units maybe what he needs. It may not last be for but help give his some more consistent green. I'd like to see his nadirs regularly below 80, and they aren't there on this dose at this point in time. As long as you can monitor closely, I'd increase.

I think I may try 0.25 tonight if it still looks like he is remaining higher.

These tiny doses are hard to judge, but I'm going to use a jewelers loupe I have to magnify it and see the half way point.
