Re: 9/1 Mitzy need prayers

Kath, I'm sending up healing prayers for Mitzy. May Angel wings wrap around your little girl and keep her safe.

Re: 9/1 Mitzy need prayers

Maybe you could call the vet and give an update to the eating situation.
That is serious and hopefully the vet will have some suggestions for you Kath!
Sending healing vines to Mitzy...and blizzards of snowflakes for feeling better and eating soon...

Well just got home from vets she gave her a shot graval (Im/Sq+ Meds) injection good for 24 hours to stop the throwing up. On Friday if no better we will make an appointment for ultra sound . I am sure she will be ok with all the healing vines she is getting Thank you all so much. Lets just pray she will eat for us in a little while. Kath

Get better Mitzy! You must be Canadian - graval. First time I ever heard of graval was when my Vancover friend was getting nauseated and sick - we were out skiing - all she wanted to do was to get down the hill and go get some graval (I thought she was saying gravel). I had visions of her going to get some small stones and sucking on them  I certainly hoped she wasn't going to swallow the stones....

I hope the graval helps Mitzy.

Kath, I sure hope that Mitzy will be feeling better soon. Lots of prayers, good thoughts, healing vines, and snowflakes are on their way. Hugs, too,

Ella & Stu

Please ask your vet to rule out pancreatitis. The test you need is either an fPLI or a spec fPLI. Usually the blood needs to be sent out to have the assay run. You might also want to try Pepsid (famotidine) to help settle Mitzy's stomach. Check with your vet first, though, since I don't know what was in the shot that Mitzy got.

Sending snowflakes and healing thoughts.
