9/1 Kasha AMPS 113 PMPS 150

I didn't have time to post before work and I was displaced at work because they are reconfiguring our cubicles (making them even smaller - how wonderful). I finally found a place to hook up my laptop, so I figured I'd post her morning number.

I fed her a lot before work today - she got 1 1/2 Tbsp for a snack at +8.5. Then 2 Tbsp forced at breakfast and 2 more force fed around +2. Sticking around till +2 is killing my work schedule.

She ate around 1 Tbsp by herself last night around PM +3. Both nostrils are stuffed up now. I gave 1/2 tab of chlor trimeton antihistamine to try to dry her up a bit. We were talking about trying pseudoephedrine on her - some people have used this on their cats with some luck, but I'm hesitant because there seems to be NO safety info on its use in cats. Kasha being 18 yrs old and all, I don't know if I want to risk it. Of course, I am getting desperate.

I have a call into the vet for an update - but she doesn't get in till 1 pm today and I'm in class until 4:30. Awesome scheduling.

I sure hope you have some news from the vet - how frustrating for you, and for Kasha. Poor kitty! Many positive thoughts from Mannie and me.

smaller cubicles, huh - wow, and isn't downsizing great? NOT! my sympathies on that issue.

Glad she has some food in her...nice that she ate on her own last night too...
Sounds as if the timing is not perfect with so many things...hope you can get through to the vet at some point later...

why does so much happen at the worst possible times? I'm so sorry you're going through so much lately, you must be approaching burn out. Sending healing vines to both you and Kasha

sending more healing vines your way I myself in my 16 yrs as a tech have never heard of using sudafed on cats but that does not mean some vets do not I guess

I don't know why her PS is so high. I fed her 1 1/2 Tbsp Wellness for dinner.

BF is going out of town tomorrow to pick up a car he bought - since I can't go, I'm going to go over and see him and eat dinner with him now. I'll be back to check on Kasha later.

hope she gets eating better for you soon, and that you can get some rest and feel refreshed to keep doing your best for your girl! I know it's hard!
