thanks pat, we were a little slow on that this am.

We had a strange encounter last night. i was in the office, and binks sounded the alarm that usually means "unknown drooler!" so i booked to the back door. My neighbor's pet duck had found a way thru the fence, and was on the patio trying to engage binks in a get-to-know-you chat.

of course, binks was freaked out, and not friendly at all, so after a moment, the duck shook itself all over, and headed back to the fence. Then, i kid you not, after talking back there for a few moments, he comes waddling back up to the patio with his housemate in tow...a gorgeous little female persian!! I was floored. I had no idea that ducks had that much insight into social niceties!
Crazy, eh? Wish i had a video of that one!

:lol: that is a funny story ... makes me think that this duck was really trying to talk to binks and binks didn't understand so he had to go get a translator! Hope this new dose works for you guys, have a great day!

mocha, i think you got it a lot quicker than binks did. Whenever i am in the yard talking to the Adoptocats, the duck jumps into to the conversation...his owner is a little 7 yr old girl, and he chats with her continually, but is a truly polite conversationalist. i went to school in animal behavior, but didnt focus on ornithology, so i am sketchy on the breed, but this fellow (and dig this- his name is David Quackerfield) certainly sparks our interest!

hope if he breaches the fence again, Binks is a little more welcoming.

LOL , anne...i shoulda thought of that! " Little pooh", maybe, or "lean but never mean"! :)) they say we should never underestimate the power of their name...

I'd be loving the consistency of these numbers if they were on a better floor...maybe the dosecrease will mesh with his new feeding regimen to get him there.

That's barely pink. Almost yellow. Pellow? Yink? Peach? And I bet if you tested a few more times you'd eventually land on a yellow. Meter variance and all.

binks is relaxing after a play session, so i'll sneak this in while he isnt looking... the boy is classic manx with one topcoat coloration, then when you brush the hair the opposite way, the undercoat is a different color. And, shhh, here's the thing...his undercoat is PEACH!!! donny, if u r reading this, don't let on that you know. We tease him about "Peachy-coat Junction" ( if any of you are old enough to recall that gem of a show). and when he lays on his back, we say "it's peachy to see you" etc., etc.

If asked, he gets a faraway look in his eyes and replies "beige...i consider it beige"

Man- i can really see what you folks mean by managing the curve. I can see how it would be with lower numbers...a 45 point variance has got to be blissful to the sugarcat bod...

could it be that when all the elements are in play, the results look better? that's really the first exercise session we've had today, as pesky things like rewiring the grandbean's bathroom got in the way of what's a little more important to the bean...
