Fluff and I got home from the farm this evening. The day was so busy I did not have time to do any mid-cycle testing. When I came home I brought him in the house and I forgot about the community dish because I was trying to unload the car before it rained. I just took his BG and it is HI!!!!

I gave him his shot on time tonight. His AMPS shot was 30 mins late. What should I do??? :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Did you take another test? It might be a bad strip. He’s probably bouncing still from the 58. The hi tonight might be a signal that the bounce is about to end. That’s combined with the dry.
 
My daughter just texted me and said that she wasn't feeling good yesterday I knew that but her boyfriend texted me from work today saying he started feeling sick so tonight they took a home test for covid and tested positive. Ugh!

Thing is I never seen anybody at the community dish since I got home so I'm not 100% sure he did eat some assuming that he did because the glucometer said hi. Assuming that he did eat some dry high carb food I would guesstimate that the time frame would have been between eating and his 8:45 p.m. test would have been no more than 2 hours give or take
 
Anyway, I have to go away for a bit, but I agree with Elisa that he was already bouncing— and then ate some dry food. It’s not a perfect world. Just watch for him to perhaps break the bounce.

I did not yet take another test. I will shortly but I'm just about out of test strips again so I have to stretch them out until I can get to Walmart tomorrow.
 
It's 12:37 a.m. and I just tried to get his numbers and he did not cooperate and I was unable to get his numbers because the strip errored he didn't stay still. I only have two test strips left until I can go to Walmart sometime tomorrow in the afternoon, so aggravated!

I need a vacation!
