8/4 Minnie PMPS 213

Yay, called the vet to report how Minnie is doing and they said to hold off today with the appt/subq fluids. She was drinking water before breakfast and again just now while I was on the phone, and woke up to eat when I put out more food at +1.5. Much better today. Paws crossed, will grab a BG reading at +3 hoping she is on the way down from the lemon tree.
 
I was surprised! It's clear who is the puppetmaster round here. She is drinking 'a lot' - not large quantities as when she was first diagnosed, but quite frequently. Unusual for her, I rarely see them drink but always add water to food. I'm guessing this is her making up for being somewhat dehydrated Monday? Her BG is not that high and she's not peeing that much. Keeping an eye. She is definitely more like herself though, thank goodness.

I think I may do the increase tonight. I held off a few cycles after the vet visit (low dose followed by 2x R doses) but I'm not seeing a whole lot going on. Or wait til tomorrow AM? Open to suggestions :)

So good she is feeling better, that is great news :)

I don’t give dosing advice just my opinion: she hasn’t seen any real action on this dose except that 94 5 cycles back, so i don’t see why not increase :) good luck with the increase whether tonight or tomorrow :bighug:
