hhmmm...i think he got a cpl bites of grandbean's fried chicken, but nobody's fessing up to slipping it to him this morning when we dropped in.

had a lil piece of white meat on his oh-so-L.A. beard tho.

think maybe he's gonna have to stop visiting where they don't take his get-healthy program seriously. he can keep an eye on the homefront during visits until he has this more under control. No wonder he loves the grandbean!

WOW!!! just read the discussion on food manipulation from mocha's 8/27 posting...what a great learning tool! thanks for the info, makes a lot more sense what we should be looking for. think we are going to factor that into binks regimen and do a little experimentation.

well, the boy just discovered the ultraplush dog bed that was hidden in the garage from when we relocated here, and it is definitely NOT going over to the grandbean's for the drooler. Guess it's only fair: moved all of his toys into the house a week b4 Binks actually moved in, and the Adopto-cats, who had been lonely and bored for a very long time, systematically enjoyed, then destroyed, almost all of them. They were known for a month after that debacle as the Destructo-cats.

Keeping the bean on her toes with my bg's 2day...don't want her to get complacent. And guess what, guys? i got a really cool bed out of it! next time we par-tay, we can all crash on it! Sheeesh, this thing's big enough for the Burmese Mountain Drooler at Grandbean's!

binks seems to have rediscovered his affinity for pink...maybe food manipulation was not the best idea just yet. he's much more contented this evening, which is when i started to split up his meals. i've read a lot of good discussions on feeding, and i like his response to feeding 1/4 of usual at shot time, +!, +2, +3. question is, is the timing right for me to be changing? I realize ECID, but am not sure if there is anything in his ss that a more experienced person could spot that would give any indication about the feeding schedule. otherwise, i'm patient, and dont mind waiting to see results- i just dont want to set any obstacles in the path we've got him heading toward healthier days.

any thoughts?

Binks had that one really good Blue day, and now is in love with Pink ohmygod_smile. I don't think you're missing Greens unless he's sneaking it in overnight. Doesn't seem like that's happening though. Might be time for a whiff more insulin soon?
