Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS today Elsa! please.....), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!WACKY WEDNESDAY is over!!! What a relief. I hope Lola and Bug didn't go too wacky. There have been no complaints so maybe all is well with Paw Prints Pizza. Today they is chillin' after yesterday's spillage of the whip cream in the kitchen. It was EVERYWHERE! Ollie and his sponges had to come to the rescue, again! Sure was fun though, slippin' and slidin' in all that whip. SWEET! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a fairly typical one for me and Nicholas, the energizer FISH. He sure does love the pool! We had a great time while there, did all the things we could, and then some. He just never tires of it all. Fatigue will win out anytime, never boredom, and that was how it was yesterday. It seems that I say that every week, but it it so true. The past few times we have been he has been trying to swim the length of the beach play area underwater. Wow, and impressive. It is so fun to watch, and I love to dish out those high five after each swim. Major cool as Nicholas would say. Here is what I posted last night about yesterday: "HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. It has been mighty fine here. After this mornings rains here the sun broke through about 10 or so - it has turned out to be an nice day after all: sunny, 73, I think. The clouds are moving in, supposedly we are due for nothing but rains tomorrow. It is a good ting we enjoyed some of today outside. We had a great day at the pool today. Alot of his wanting underwater stuff, along with play stuff too. That was fun, and a hoot to watch him try and swim the length of the beach area under water. He just wouldn't give up. It was cute/funny in that it isn't much more than a foot and a half deep, maybe two at the deepest part. oh wow on it all, and I can't wait to get him back into some deep water. He asked again to watch lessons today, so we did. Probably for a good 20 minutes. They were teaching Breaststroke and Backstroke today. He decided that he liked Backstroke best. too funny. Per the norm all classes wound up on the blocks at the end of class to do dives. Nicholas loves those: " look grammie! I wanna do that!", with smiles from ear to ear. As we are ready to leave he asks: "can I do lessons too?" Yupp, you betcha Nicholas! you gotta love it. We finished the day off on the trails. Half way through he decides he wants to walk in the creek. so off he went, came out with wet shoes, socks, and pant legs, laughing is head off. What a typical boy. At that point off came the shoes, he spent the rest of the "hike" in his socks, laughing all the time on how he was hiking in his socks. You gotta love that too. Truly a fun day today." Picassa links: Swimming!!, and On the trails....

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   No vacuum riding for Lola yesterday. however...  Instead we have a new form of O.M.G.'s! When I came home yesterday I discovered that we have an spider that decided to spin his web in my living room.   So.... he was about 1 foot down from the ceiling, maybe 5/6 feet off the ground. So there is Lola, who by now has seen it too, as this thing wasn't exactly small.   So here she is: ears back, tail twitching, mouth making "that sound" and up she flies trying to catch that spider. I SWEAR she leaped four+ feet off the ground, straight up, paws batting a mile a minute as she flies through the air.        She never did get it, as by now I'm thinking no.... no way.... i hate the crunching sound they make when they eat those things.... :? :? :? SO I put on my brave suit and captured the thing... Poor LOLA! She worked so hard to catch it....   Yesterday we had a power outage for about an hour in the morning. of course it was at the time I needed to feed Nicholas breffis. Lately he has been wanting waffles... so I had to be creative as the toaster and the microwave wouldn't work. Of course he had to have those toaster Eggo's: so breffis was cooked on the gas stove, with candlelight. An adventure! Nicholas loved it, after he was done running though the house making sure nothing worked. That alone was hysterical. "Grammie! EVERYTHING is broken!" yes, little man, that it was. ;-) Breffis by Candlelight What great day! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KITTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Elsa and Bug - best hurry up! Lola seems to be one step ahead of you.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty today. My DD, Erin, will be up today with both boys. We had hoped to go to the Ice Caves here, but the weather just isn't the best. So I will check with her once she gets here, come up with a back up plan... Whatever we decide it should be a great day! Having us four on an outing is a good day anyway! YAY! I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Hi Michelle. Nicholas has made so much progress with his swimming this summer. Both of you should be very proud. Leave it to a child to turn a power outage from an inconvenience to a fun thing    .

Watching Lola with the spider must have been joyous. They concentrate so hard when they're stalking something  Got a good chuckle from your "I hate the crunching sound they make when they eat those things" comment.

Hope you and DD have an awesome day Michelle.

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Oh too funny on Lola. Poor girl. She tried so hard. And hilarious on Nicholas. It is funny to see things through their eyes sometimes. Everything WAS broken. Oh my. Have a great day with Erin and the boys!

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Morning John ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree ion Nicholas and that power outage. I don't know what was more fun - his running around to check everything or the makeshift waffle cooking. it was fun. Oh yes on Lola and that spider. The ears were so flat, she was way too focused.  and that crunch crunch crunch.... ugh.   Thx on today!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree on Lola. She would have had him if he hadn't spun his web from the ceiling. I so enjoyed Nicholas's checking the house out. For him it was broken, big time! OH NO when he couldn't look at his photos on the PC! He just loves to see what he did the day before, etc... THX on today. It will be great.

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Good Morning, guys,

Those movies of Nicholas swimming under water are impressive. He is a true "water rat"! And the power outage sounds like it was a lot of fun. Good preparation for a camping trip! :-D

Have a fine day today. Maybe the weather will clear so that you can go to the Ice Caves. They must be awesome.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, thank you for the Brazilian expresso. Mega good! I hope that Lola wasn't too disappointed that the spider was rescued!

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Hi, Michelle, I hope you're having a great day with Erin and the boys. What am I saying ~ of course you are!
I love the image of Lola vs. the spider. That girl isn't subtle, is she  .
Scritches to your three musketeers!

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

I bet Nicholas had fun having breakfast by candlelight. How funny he had to check everything and it was broken.

I can just see Lola trying to get that spider. It's amazing how high they can jump if they want to.

I hope you had a good day with your DD and the boys, whatever you decided to do.

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We ended up at the aquarium today, rains were awful, huge downpour around 11 or so. I think we are all glad we were not out in it. Another massive mess coming in later tonight, hail, thunder even some bolts. WOO! a wild ride, maybe. OOOO! Thunder rumbles, heavy rains as I type! cool. The aquarium was good, as it always is. Per the usual the Nicholas was so excited to show mom the ropes. We had mad dashes from one section to another. Lots of critter touches, and lots of explanations to his mom and what they were. It is amazing what he does know. Today we were especially fond of the tide pools, with the starfish, and several anemones. We did a little of the waterfront park too. By then we had a weather break, so took advantage of that. Sure was warm out there. I love warm rains. Anyways - a good day for all. William did well too. He seemed to like the tanks that had the bright colorful fish in them. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Ella :-D Aren't those vids great? He truly does love it. not too bad for a two yr old. And ye son the power outage. We really did have fun with it. it only lasted an hour, but that hour was great. Right you are: good prep for a camp trip!!! We did have a good one today - but the weather was awful: heavy rains, thunder, etc... so off to the aquarium. We will try and do the ice caves within the next few weeks. They are impressive: nestled right up at the base of the mountains. A gorgeous area indeed. Scritches have been dispensed. All say THANK YOU AUNTIE ELLA!
Auntie Ella - you are so welcomes! I love this mocha - I created it in memory of Mannie. It was for him. Cool, huh! oh Lola was ok with it all. she just went off and messed with something else. She's good at messin'! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Josie :-D We did! It was so fun - we ended up at the Aquarium, considering the weather and all. An excellent time! LOL, and yes on Lola, subtle, no.... so true. she is not!  Scritches have been dispensed. All say THANK YOU AUNTIE JOSIE!

HI Carla :-D oh yes - Nicholas thought the candlelight breffis was the best thing ever. In fact he asked for it again today.  So we did! it was fun. I thought so oo on his finding all the electrical stuff "broken". That was just way too cute. It is on kitties ability to jump high, isn't it. She really jumped. And THX! Today was great.

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Yikes on the spider  ...I, myself, am terrified of 'em, and therefore, my kitties are not allowed anywhere near spiders. I don't blame you for taking that one out...yikes again! I can imagine Lola's efforts, though! She's such a creative little girl!!

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Hey Grammie Bean - Don't you know that shoes are overrated! Sydney used to love sticking her head in our bean's shoes, especially her really smelly ones. She would roll on them, shove her head and if she could have would have put her whole body in her shoes. She actually did it to a man bean's friend of her shoes, they were big enough for her to climb in.
Yuck she smelled like stinky shoes.

Hey Lil Bit Pit - My bean was very angry today and yelled at someone. It upsets me when she yells. I yell at her to stop and she tries. But I am very upset, I need a strong tuna water juice to calm my nerves - and tomorrow I need to chillax - so let's go to my place and lounge on the yacht - what do ya think. sound like a fun plan.

Signed Maui the Magnificent, don't like it when the bean yells

Re: 8/29 LOOSE LIPS: a day at the pool, shoeless on the trai

Hi Amy - They re not my favorite thing in the world either. Even more so when I find them in the house. Lola however thought they were great. Boy did she ever try!

Maui - GF! Your bean yelled? oh no... that's not good. Maybe she had a good reason? I dunno! I will bring you a quad tune juice then - that will help, for sure! Cool on the yacht - works for me! ~~ Elsa, ready to sail
Maui, grammie bean here. Nicholas agrees with you. He takes his shoes off all the time! Every minute he can get. Says he doesn't need any shoes. I guess so! Your Sydney was one funny girl. And she fit in that shoe! She was one very talented kitty. ~~ Grammie bean, on behalf of Nicholas who says shoes are overrated too.
