Sorry for your loss. It is always so difficult when it happens so quickly. She is free of pain with a tummy full of food. Fly Free Meadow>>><<<

Amber, I'm so sorry! I hope you will find some comfort in the knowledge that you saved Meadow a great deal of pain. It's never easy, even though we know it's the best thing to do. Take care of yourself.

Amber - we are so sorry to hear that you have lost your Meadow. Our hearts break with yours. It is so difficult for us to love these guys, care for them and then loose them. Sending you hugs, lots of hugs.

'life is a book that we study
some of it's leaves bring a sigh
there it was written, my buddy
that we must part-you and i

nights are long since you went away
i think about you all through the day
my buddy, my buddy
nobody quite so true

buddies through all the gay days
buddies when something went wrong
i wait alone through the gray days
missing your smile and your song

miss your voice, the touch of your hand
just long to know that you understand
my buddy, my buddy
your buddy misses you"

((Amber)) So, sorry you lost your specail girl. Acro sinks! I lost Cecil last summer, his heart was enlarged and damage because of Acromegly. You did right thing by letting Meadow go. I know how painful it is  .

I'm very sorry for your loss. I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but if her larynx was becoming paralyzed, Meadow might also have begun to suffer from sudden or chronic breathing issues. My Min (GA) had that come on suddenly and he very nearly suffocated before I could rush him to the vet. Surgery was the only thing that saved his life. Breathing issues are very terrifying for anyone to experience. So aside from all the other reasons to let Meadow go easily, sparing her the risk of such awful scary moments was a very good thing. My heart goes out to you in this time of grief. Many tears for you.
