Good Morning LL
(LOTS! L just love
), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese is a still a little weird, even with the added tuna and nip, but I have to admit that they are pretty good!
so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!
I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great - another hike. YAY! I'm trying to get in a many as I can before I am involved with caring for William in addition to Nicholas. September will be nuts, and I'm not too sure how any days I will be able to be out on the trails, so we go when we can. We ,as so many other states have our fair share of wildfires. That too is making it difficult to hike some of eh hikes I save for September, and late August. oh well... we do what we can! Weather is beginning to change here too.... fall is coming! so so not ready..... Here's what I wrote in last nights post about yesterday: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was great - I did make that hike. It took a while to find one though. Most of the hike places I still wanted to do were under rain advisories, plus isolated t-storms etc. so.... no way! I have no need to be on a mountain with thunder storms going on.... I ended up 6 miles this side of Snoqualmie Pass at Talapus and Olallie Lakes. And (YAY!) they had sun. WOOT! Well they did until about 1PM when the clouds moved in and the sprinkles started. My cue LOL to exit the mountain. Rains really weren't that bad, and it was still warm, so no biggie. The lakes were really very pretty, Olallie Lake had better shore access so I spent most of my time there. They are starting to get a little fall color there too. fall already? darn.... I had a good time. Climbed about 1350 feet, did maybe 9 miles, maybe 8.5. I decided to stop in at the Snoqulamie River by Twin falls, just to hang out there for a bit before heading home. It was nice: a little sun, river was pretty, some quiet time more or less, as it was a little busy there. It was a nice way to wrap up the day.
I will post the Picassa links on tomorrow's condo." Picassa link: Talapus and Olallie Lakes, and Snoqualmie River. The Lakes photo album also contains several shots I took in the morning on my drive there. The skies was full of clouds, making all just pretty, interesting. So... me being me, I took some photos. They are at the beginning of the album.

The welcoming committee was on duty when I got home yesterday - all three of them, even Elsa.
The roles are becoming so predictable.
Bug was waiting on the back of the sofa which is next to the stair railing with an excellent view of the door, all stretched out, paw down as if to say - "hey, welcome home". Elsa was waiting at the top of the landing, meowing up a storm. That part was usual. It seems she wanted out, dinner apparently could wait in her opinion. I told her no way - she ah to eat her fuds first.  Now Lola... well Lola is Lola. She was waiting on the middle step, once again rolling back and forth, and once again falling down the remainder of the steps. She doesn't seem to care, and goes back up to repeat the process.   silly cat. OH!!! I as on time too! No need for them to produce that dreaded blood oath I signed.... no being drawn and quartered due to tardiness for this bean! Things seem to have survived my being gone.... nothing amiss. Hmmmm - perhaps Lola is waiting til alter? or,..... she may just be tired from all that door and window banging she did last night and this morning, and when I took my shower after my hike. sheshhhh.... endless paw banging.   You gotta love it.
Have a great day everyone. I will be caring for William at my DD's house this morning while she goes to a dental appt. SWEET! William time! Nicholas will be however at his other grandparents house, as he is on all Tuesdays. I hope to make Seattle later in the day to have coffee with my friend. I hope there will be time, after caring for William...
