Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! L just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! these pizza pies totally rock! The tuna cheese is a still a little weird, even with the added tuna and nip, but I have to admit that they are pretty good! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great - another hike. YAY! I'm trying to get in a many as I can before I am involved with caring for William in addition to Nicholas. September will be nuts, and I'm not too sure how any days I will be able to be out on the trails, so we go when we can. We ,as so many other states have our fair share of wildfires. That too is making it difficult to hike some of eh hikes I save for September, and late August. oh well... we do what we can! Weather is beginning to change here too.... fall is coming! so so not ready..... Here's what I wrote in last nights post about yesterday: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was great - I did make that hike. It took a while to find one though. Most of the hike places I still wanted to do were under rain advisories, plus isolated t-storms etc. so.... no way! I have no need to be on a mountain with thunder storms going on.... I ended up 6 miles this side of Snoqualmie Pass at Talapus and Olallie Lakes. And (YAY!) they had sun. WOOT! Well they did until about 1PM when the clouds moved in and the sprinkles started. My cue LOL to exit the mountain. Rains really weren't that bad, and it was still warm, so no biggie. The lakes were really very pretty, Olallie Lake had better shore access so I spent most of my time there. They are starting to get a little fall color there too. fall already? darn.... I had a good time. Climbed about 1350 feet, did maybe 9 miles, maybe 8.5. I decided to stop in at the Snoqulamie River by Twin falls, just to hang out there for a bit before heading home. It was nice: a little sun, river was pretty, some quiet time more or less, as it was a little busy there. It was a nice way to wrap up the day. I will post the Picassa links on tomorrow's condo." Picassa link: Talapus and Olallie Lakes, and Snoqualmie River. The Lakes photo album also contains several shots I took in the morning on my drive there. The skies was full of clouds, making all just pretty, interesting. So... me being me, I took some photos. They are at the beginning of the album.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The welcoming committee was on duty when I got home yesterday - all three of them, even Elsa. :-D The roles are becoming so predictable. :-D Bug was waiting on the back of the sofa which is next to the stair railing with an excellent view of the door, all stretched out, paw down as if to say - "hey, welcome home". Elsa was waiting at the top of the landing, meowing up a storm. That part was usual. It seems she wanted out, dinner apparently could wait in her opinion. I told her no way - she ah to eat her fuds first.  Now Lola... well Lola is Lola. She was waiting on the middle step, once again rolling back and forth, and once again falling down the remainder of the steps. She doesn't seem to care, and goes back up to repeat the process.   silly cat. OH!!! I as on time too! No need for them to produce that dreaded blood oath I signed.... no being drawn and quartered due to tardiness for this bean! Things seem to have survived my being gone.... nothing amiss. Hmmmm - perhaps Lola is waiting til alter? or,..... she may just be tired from all that door and window banging she did last night and this morning, and when I took my shower after my hike. sheshhhh.... endless paw banging.   You gotta love it.

Have a great day everyone. I will be caring for William at my DD's house this morning while she goes to a dental appt. SWEET! William time! Nicholas will be however at his other grandparents house, as he is on all Tuesdays. I hope to make Seattle later in the day to have coffee with my friend. I hope there will be time, after caring for William...

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!!

Awww, enjoy your William time, Michelle!
Too funny with Lola rolling down the steps  !
Thank you, Elsa, for the coffee treat :-D !
Have a wonderful day!

What a wonderful hike & great day it sounds like you had. And nice welcoming committee upon your return! Course, the fuds sure help, as the ~O) ~O) helps the beans! Have a great time with DGS today - we do alot of that, too! Keeps us on our toes......

Hi Michelle. Glad you were able to get another hike in. The wildfires are terrible and destroy so much of the forest. I hope there aren't any too close to your home. September sounds like it's going to be a trying month for you....but oh the memories you would have built both for the boys and yourself. You sure are a great grandmother to Nicholas and William.

Have a great day Michelle.

Morning everyone! ~O) ~O) ~O)

Hi Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, and will do with William. :-D  Yes on Lola - that is her new thing, way of greetings when I get home. Sure does make me laugh. She is really something else.
Auntie Josie! You is so welcomes! I hope they are mega good! ~~Elsa, lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Suzanne - THX for the visit! It was a good hike, always good anytime there is a lake or river involved. :-D oh yes on the welcoming committee - I wonder what I would do if they weren't there waiting... ;-) Oh yes on those DGS's - it does, doesn't it?

Hi John ~O) ~O) ~O) me too on the hike! I wasn't too sure yesterday, what with the weather. Got lucky! Oh yes on the wildfires... we have about 3/4 of them, not too bad here. I feel for those affected by the Yellowstone one. yes. September will be busy, and crazy as we/I adjust to having another one to care for, and so young! He will be 3 moths when he starts coming with Nicholas. Well, it will all be good, once we get the patterns/schedule set. OI SO SO AGREE on all those memories. Good for me, good for teh boys, and good for their parents. THX so much on the rest. we sure do try....

Hey Lil Bit Pit,

Hurry up and finish your deliveries real quick. We is going on a picnic! Rusty is loading up my wagon with the goods - his beans prepared a lovely picnic spread and Rusty is nabbing it all. Now he won't have to cook and can enjoy the fun with the rest of us.

Tess is coming down the drive with the furrari, so we are going be zooming away mighty quick. I think a good place to picnic would be the tree house! It's got all the built in fun we need and the beans will never find us.

We gotta find Ollie - he said something about decorating the new condo today! I wonder where he went shopping....... :?

So, gather the troops and get the little 'uns and let's picnic!

Ooh ask them to send special tuna pies to the tree house and please bring lots of pitchers of tuna water! You know that's my favorite!

Signed Maui the Magnificent, loves to picnic and drink tuna water

You had me cracking up at the picture of Lola rolling on the step and then falling off the step and going right back up!!!   I have a civvie who does the rolling thing but has never fallen off the step so I count that as a blessing. Somehow a kitty falling toward you on the steps... well, that is just so hilarious. What a character!

Glad you enjoyed your hike. I like the cold weather so I am looking forward to Fall but we have a lot of summer left here.

Robin

Fall is coming. I am ready here, but we still have awhile. I hope the fires are put out soon and not doing too much damage. Sweet on William time! Love the smell of babies. Have a great day Michelle!!

Great pictures as always. I am looking forward to fall and wish it would get here sooner. We are having upper 80s and humid weather this week. Yuck.

I love hearing about the welcoming committee. Lola is so funny with the paw banging.

I hope you had a good time watching William this morning.

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I spent the morning at my DD's and watched William for her while she went for a dental appt. What a cutie he is, and grown! I took some photos, so I shall be sure and post them tomorrow. Other than that I really haven't done much in the line of excitement today. I cleaned the house this afternoon, does that count?

Maui! GF! OOOOOOOOO! Seriously?? A picnic and Rusty is getting the beans picnic fuds? Well done Rust! They will never now it was us! SWEET! OH YES on the treehouse! perfect! All is ready here so come on over! OK - I will gather the troops and send out an SOS for Ollie. See ya! ~~ Elsa

Hi Robin - thanks for the visit! Lola is so funny - she seems to like doing that - why I have no clue. It is funny as can be. Oh yes, she is a character indeed.  THX on the hike - I love fall too. best darn hiking time. I'm looking forward to hiking in somewhat cooler weather. YAY!

Hi Melissa - it is here too. One can feel it. We will have about a month, but thongs are starting to cool, the vine maples are turning.... aiyee! THX on the wildfires: I hope so too. William is indeed a sweetie - sure has grown!

Hi Carla - THX on the pics! There is a part of me too that is looking forward to fall, the rest of me says : nope, not yet.  Whoa, and way hot where you are. THX on Lola.
