Had a great time away with ds for his 21st b-day. It went by much too fast. Talked to my friend after Spikes Tues pm shot and all seemed fine but he hissed at her when she was patting him. She managed to shoot anyway. When I talked to her the next morning after am shot she said she thought he had a uti because he wasnt interested in eating, there was vomit in different places around the house and near his water bowl a quarter size drop of watery blood. Now I know why his numbers have been wacky the last few days. I called from my hotel room and got a vet appt for that afternoon to see his regular vet. His yearly is in Sept so I had everything done this time. Because he just got over a uti in June she doubled his abs, this time am and pm. Then after a week of them being done he gets another c/s then after a month another c/s to make sure its not coming back. This way she'll know weather its cronic or just a fluke that he had it so close to the other. He was very considerate during this ordeal and only peed on a bath mat that had fallen in the tub. This morning hes back to his purry self and out on his porch.
